Uh, oh, looks like lots of healing vibes needed today, for nmlc's DS2, and Sistercas's DH + DD1, and also posi-vibes for Lou and Beth. And I reckon I'd better have a word with Coyote and tell him to let Hester alone for a bit, too.:o
I had some good news yesterday – got a missive from the Rheumy (I wrote to her, in desperation, a week ago) to say I can return to taking hydroxychloroquine.:T I'll have to wait for it to build back up in my system again to get any relief, but I can live with that, knowing that it'll get a bit easier to cope, by - say – 6 weeks or so's time.:o
Must go now; Mr LW is cooking us egg'n'chips, and it's just about ready.:AIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Afternoon all
Flutterby - you go girl, he's the one that's mad the wrong choice! There will be the right one out there - happy hunting.
DS2 is full of beans this morning, and says his hand is not hurting so much, so all good here.
Have managed to complete the ironing mountain, so that job's done. Just waiting for DH's aunt to arrive then retail therapy coming my way.
Have a good Saturday everyone x

Hi everyone,
I'm sorry to hear about so many accidents and your news as well HH.
I'm happy today because I finally lost the final half pound for my 2 stone weight loss - I've still got a bit to go and it's been very low going for the last couple of months, but that's a boost just before Christmas.
I should really tidy the house but I want to finish all the machine sewing on my Christmas table mats so that I can clear it away as my craft room is also the dining room where the tree will go. We also want to take the dog out as it is such a lovely day here.0 -
tru  what a day
Good move flutterby keep going until you find a kepper
lamewolf great news you'll be feeling better soon enough (6 weeks will fly by i'm sure- got christmas et al to get through!)
hester hopefully they will remember at some point that 1) you are not pond scum and 2) your job isn't "editor" or anything similar.
Afternoon everyone. I'm feeling quite a bit better so getting back into OS today :j
I've been getting on with cleaning jobs this morning, load of washing done and hung and freezer defrosted, cleaned and refilled. There's so much more space now there's no ice. Got loads of sheets to do next but will be taking those to the dryers round the corner, i'd rather pay 60p than deal with finding room to hang them. Few hours revision to do tonight too.
Also going to do some cooking today: chicken liver pate(found a forgotten pack of livers in the freezer) and flax crackers. Stuffed lambs hearts for tea yum!Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
Hi all had a busy morning cooking and just doen a revised list of freezer contents .It is going ,allbeit slowly.my friend came to see me this afternoon with her Oh as they had been to Strood to pick up some bits for her grandchildren.we had a nice afternoon jawing and drinking coffee and putting the world to rights as we do.

Hi Everyone! late post from me today. Meeting this morning and then large shop ( for me) at Mr T's. Spent afternoon watching rugby - fairytale ending for Shane Williams, even if they didn't win.
HH - sorry school values you so badly - they'd be lost without you doing your job. As you say - you aren't responsible for the original, which must have been useless. Think whoever handed it to you is to blame! Also can't understand any HT treating staff so poorly. maybe I was a soft touch, but I don't think so. People are the school's most valuable resource and deserve to be treated as such.
FB - good for you girl!
Hope I actualy get to the Christmas jobs next week - this one has been a non-starter!
Hope you are all ebnjoying w/e.
DS remains in hospital. Liver scan yesterday. Hospital described him as "stable " yesterday. he managed to ring today and reckons he just needs to rest and give his liver time to recover. Not sure really...
Oh well. Upwards and onwards.
take care.
ETA - have to confess...broke into the Christmas sweetie tin earlier, so bought another one! I am bad, bad, bad....!Resolution:
Think twice before spending anything!0 -
Evening All,
FB go girl the cheeky s@d
Lots done today, all with a hangover. Three lots of washing done and food shopping bought and put away. Managed to get a half price beef joint for Christmas dinner (14 of us) so having beef pork and turkey.
House has been cleaned and the tree and other decorations are up, and even decorated the hall. It looks lovely and Christmassy.
Flagging now a bit so quick tea of turkey schnitzel and pasta that we should have had during the week and then I plan to collapse in front of strictly. Going to watch How to train your dragon with DS tonight.
Also managed to order DS 2 some photography bits to go with his new camera for Christmas and earphones for DS3 as well as there is an argument every day in this house about who has stolen whose headphones:cool:
Snuggle up warm tonight it's going to be chilly, except for me as I have my own internal hot flush heating system to keep me warm:rotfl:oh when did I become middle aged.Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Evening all!
Went into city centre with DD for a spot of retail therapy! Bought MIL's pressie, she bought a warm jacket in the Trespass sale, and we came home soaked to the skin! Had to wring out the sleeves of my anorak before i dried it, and the hailstones were huge too!
Came home, made a batch of chilli and am now sitting in my pjs listening to OH snore.
DD has calmed down a tad and is currently putting on the warpaint as some of the girls are taking her out, they are a good bunch who all look after each other so they will hopefully keep her chirpy!RIP Iain

Dont know where today has gone, well actually I do, I was working until 2pm, did a bit of shopping for DD1, came home had dinner then fell asleep on the settee for an hour!!!! Im now ready for bed, ready for another early start at work tomorrow!!
HH Ive worked at few places where people above you blame you for everything, usually its because they feel threatened by what has happened and just looking for somebody to take the blame away from them, so dont feel bad cos what goes round comes round and you were only doing what you were asked to do
