    Morning everyone,

Hester, many hugs to you, hope things get better soon. I work in a school and our reprographics ladies are some of the most valuable members of staff, we all know that and we all treat them as such.

Today I am taking DD1 for her ballet exam this morning. She could go on her own as it is a walk away and it is day light but even at 14 years old she has decided that she needs her mum! I couldn't take DD2 for her exam yesterday as I couldn't get time off work. A friend took her and DD2 couldn't care less about it but I felt terrible.

Off out this evening with some friends for a curry, looking forward to that. DS is babysitting for DD2 and DD1 is babysitting up the road for someone else!

May watch the Christmas light switch on in the High Street before that, there're going to be fireworks.

Hugs to all in need especially Beth, Lou, JackieG and Taplady.
    Hope I haven't missed anyone.

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)

Hester, I'm sure no one thinks you're pond scum! Heads can be horrid though. Ours treats the teachers like pond scum so I dread to think what it would be like to be in your shoes with a horrible head. Boooo. As for the people who stole your parcels, that's disgusting and makes me sad that there are such people in the world! My postman regularly leaves parcels on my doorstep and they are always there when I get back.
I feel a bit down this weekend. All I have to do is marking Year 10 controlled assessments, and ironing dozens of shirts. It's OH's weekend away and he also was away on business Wednesday and Thursday so it will be 4 nights away rather than the usual 2. Feeling a bit lonely and fed up with no reason to even get dressed until Monday!
Hope everyone else has woken up feeling better than me. On the plus side, it looks like a nice day out there.

Moorhen - good luck to your DD for today

HH - Hugs x you aren't pond scum. Some people infuriate me with how they treat others. Have a lovely time tonight.
Hope everyone is well, i had a great night out with my friends, and today i'm going on a brewery tour!

Not much OS going on today, need to clean up the kitchen and bathroom, put some clothes in the wash and decide what we are having for dinner. OH and I are having a movie night tonight which will be lovely.

Going to try and and stay in more if possible. We go out far too much i think.

    Have a lovely day all

    Morning everyone.

Hester i used to do the photocopying for solicitors. God they are a right royal bunch of w*nkers. Demanding stuff was urgent, do it and then it would sit on their desk for days. Sounds like it's part and parcel of the job. You are not pond scum, people just think they are better because they have their heads up their rears. Can't see reality from there. to the gits who stole the parcel. I wish I had something spare to send you to replace it but DD doesn't have many and she still uses hers. I might ask around on FB in case friends have any spare. Can't hurt to ask.
Anyway off to see Father Christmas with the kids this morning, kids party this afternoon (40 kids, one headache........I need a lie down!!!) and then were off as a family to Stratford to see the Christmas lights, have a walk round town and maybe have a hot chocolate :D in true MSE style i think we will take our own :money:

Ok need to get the troops organised for toilet trip before we go.

    Hugs and spoons all round.

Tru if that's payback just imagine what the other person must be getting ;)

    Daisyegg have a hug xxx

Molly hmm not sure I'd call my tree inspiring :o I am now involved in what my brother terms Tree Wars were we share pics and say ours is the best tree/decorations etc :rotfl: enjoy putting yours up :D

Well Hester it wasn't the one from me, as it is still here. Trying to find the most OS way of sending it, and if all else fails, we are down at Newbury with the 'van over NY.

HH can`t believe the nerve of some people stealing a parcel! Mind you when I worked in a kids hospice some !!!!!! stole the Christmas presents on Christmas Eve:eek::mad: now you can`t get lower than that imo!
Going to get our tree today as it has to stand in the room for a day for DS to get used to it before we decorate it. One stage at a time with Xmas changes so we don`t throw him out of sync.
Went to local church yesterday after school to cafe as usual but it was Xmas tree festival, lovely for me 31 trees all decorated by local businesses...DS however couldn`t cope with it being busy and different so had to take him home.
Then he was so hyped that when an ambulance passed us and stuck its siren on suddenly he ran and fell to the floor chutching his ears and rolling around bless him..am lucky he didn`t run out into the road!
