Hi Marksman,
The refund acceptance letter was 12th September 2011 and it was for 5 loans which are now finished. I made the claim around May time I think.:)0 -

It doesn't say if it's a goodwill gesture. It just says this our 'proposed offer'. It is being paid into my Lloyds current account on bacs.0 -

I know that this is the Lloyds section but Barclays are just as bad - believe me. I have just posted this in the Barclays thread but thought that this would give you a laugh - kind of.;)
"Following on from my previous post, I made my normal daily phone call to the Barclays 'Team' today and was basically told that as I have been paid (I have never received the cheque or letter allegedly posted on the 17th November) that Barclays will treat this as low priority because as far as they are concerned then I have been paid, they are concentrating on the backlog of people who haven't been paid at all. I was told that I will not be paid this now until at least after Christmas - probably January but more likely - February.
Up until today,I have always been very polite on the phone to them but today after hearing that news then I'm afraid that the worm turned.
I am fortunate that I'm not relying on this money coming in to my account so I'm not unduly concerned when I receive it but there is now a price that Barclays will pay for treating me like a total and utter scum bag.
As I am not far off retirement then I have certain plans made in which Barclays were going to play a significant part of - not any more though. The plans will (are) being changed and they will not be receiving a single penny from what would have been a significant amount of money over a given relative short period of time.
I will now not lower myself by phoning them anymore, they can go and do whatever they want with the money they owe me, it will arrive at some stage. I really don't care any more about Barclays or come to think of it, any of the high street banks but Barclays in particular for treating me this way. How dare they.
I will now get on with my life like I used to do before this started and start enjoying myself by treating Barclays the same way they have just treated me today.
I'm going to enjoy this."

Well still no re-calc letter and NO PAYMENT for me
Awaiting on £15k
3 previous closed loans which had PPI, I have 1 loan on-going but this doesnt have PPI against it.
My calc offer letter was received 12th September and nothing else received what so ever....just a headache of ringing Looyds and emailing each week asking what the hell is going on and why do people keep lieing to me.
I spoke to a lady yesterday when I contacted Lloyds TSB customer relations and she was surprised I hadnt received my payment and also my re-calc letter.
She said she was going to investigate my account etc and liaise with her manager to try and get me sorted as i have been waiting nearly 90 days for my payment...which is beyond a joke now.
Im not desperate for the money as i wouldnt have claimed for the PPI back if i didnt hear on the news that Lloyds and other banks had to pay back mis-sold PPI.
Anyway...fingers crossed something happens soon, especially before Crimbo! Can treat my family to some extra nice presents this year if so
Well done to all who have been paid and fingers crossed to all who are still waiting ( like me)

I have just had a nice surprise. I logged onto my on-line Lloyds account and at first was very disappointed as by balance hadn't changed, however, when I looked down the screen I noticed that my loan had dropped by several thousands of pounds. I was really taken aback.
I am glad they are now looking at my claim and fingers crossed, I will be receiving my refund within the next week - but I don't think I will hold my breath just in case.
Glad you're getting somewhere mate. I've been following the thread closely and i think im the same dates as you, but i've heard nothing!
Had my offer letter 22nd Sept with interest calclulated until 17th October. Despite chasing via e-mail / phone etc, had absolutely no feedback, not even had my loan re-calculated.
Its so frustrating, especially as i've been with Lloyds for 25 years!
I also had a claim for a closed loan with exactly the same dates, and received that payment early November!
I keep checking my account every morning, but im really resigned to the fact that it wont be until 2012 until i see my money!0
