LloydsTSB PPI Payment

  • Hi, can someone help me out, I've had my ppi back eventually half went to me and half to my loan. Just got a statement which was like this-

    Balance- 19000

    Payment- 5000(ppi refund)

Reversal- 2500(half my ppi to my Lloyds account)

    Balance now- 16500

    Is this correct?

Forgot to say the original loan was 18500 but was front loaded with the ppi so roughly 5000 without the interest. I've been paying reduced payments for quite a while. It just doesn't look right.

I'm making a right pickle of this! So my loan was 23500 with frontloaded ppi.

Phil, not ignoring you but no idea I'm afraid.

Personally I've had enough now, I'm going to compose an email/letter tonight to Mr Hallet explaining in great detail the constant lies and battles to get information. I'm not going to ask him to pay us instantly, just an explanation of what the hell is going on with the company and for an HONEST timescale and indication of where we sit in the system. It's not much to ask is it?

How long have you been waiting? Mine took over two months from my calculations letter. They don't seem to know what's going on when you ring up, from my experience. One tells you one thing and then you get told something completely different!

Offer letter late august, calcs letter early Sept. Nothing but lies since then. (No letters).
  • I've given up now. I went into my bank and the manager said he'd ring for me. He rang back and told me what everyone else is getting, no date, no info. Standard.

I then log into my online banking last night and find they have dropped my credit limit in my card from £2k to £500 without notification. Fortunately it's at 0 so I have cancelled it. I have also arranged to transfer my bank account to a matching grad account with RBS (£2k interest free overdraft) and close my Lloyds current account.

I have also just set up a business with my dad and have secured funding for a few web projects that look promising. I have decided against the Lloyds business banking account and gone with Santander.

All of this I've told them in an email and a letter. They can go *** themselves, I will never do business with them again following this shambolic treatment of me and everyone else in the same predicament.
