Christmas Eve (which is also my littlest son's bday - he will be 3 this year) we have a huge joint of roast pork with extra crackling, home made roasties, stuffing, apple sauce (also homemade) and rolls to put it all on. Nom Nom!!
We buy big choocy boxes at this time of year, after eights, chestnuts, satsumas, cheese footballs - we buy much more party food for New Years Eve than Christmas.
Got my 8.4kg turkey in the freezer yesterday and got everyhting to make the stuffing inc fresh cranberries so job nearly done!3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned sprouts??
Only ever buy at Xmas time as I'm not a lover and generally just buy a few loose. Son likes them so maybe a 500g pack this year as he's coming home, well our home.
We have sprouts almost every week so not out of the ordinary for us!
In all honesty, nothing that we buy at Christmas is stuff that we only have at Christmas. Just my dad buys enough to feed the 5000 for some reason!0
