Oh... my notes say no further deposits. And the key product info implies you can only deposit while the issue is still available.

As I said I had it straight from the horse`s mouth a couple of weeks ago.

You can still ADD to the account.

You're allowed upto 6 withdrawals within any 12 month period so for example you'd be allowed a max of 6 withdrawals between 30th May 2012 and 30th May 2013.

    Many thanks.......

have checked with virgin money on what the term "any 12 month period" means - if you opened the account on 1st Dec 2011, you have another 6 withdrawals starting 1st Dec 2012

Don't you just hate resurrected threads? :D I noticed this and :jthinking NR/Virgin had started a new account went straight to their site looking for it!
Returning to the thread I realised that it was an account from over a year ago.

That will teach me to check dates first. But I bet I am not the only saver whose hopes were raised for a few short mins? :)

It's a shame that the number of withdrawals remaining isn't displayed when you log in to the account.

I'm extremely doubtful that you can, have you actually tried doing so?

Yes, I've seen post 44, but given what it says in the 'Key Product Information' pdf, I couldn't help wondering if whoever you spoke to was misinformed! But having just spoken to them I was told that you can indeed make further deposits. How odd!

    Very odd, but useful.

My original inquiry was to get confirmation that the bonus was for 18 months and not 12.
Whilst discussing this the advisor asked me if I wanted to transfer any more money into the account.

Indeed, I very nearly closed my account earlier this week!
