£40 in the tin today that hubby was given at work it might be extra for going back last night, or it might be £10 extra for last night and his usual £30 desil money either way it has been decided that desil money will go in the pot because he gets it in cash and desil will go on the creditcard so i can use the quick pay pump and we can help our credit rating at the same time (not that it's bad but we wanna buy a house so anything we can do to help helps) i don't use alot of cash so my pot will be the above desil money and every month i will chnage £20 to £1 coins for the school snack money but most months i'll only use £16 so the rest can go in
oh and i don't think bending a poundland tin trick would work for me because i'll be putting notes in
do none of your worry about keepin cash in the house? i think because mines in a jar and you can see it i'm abit worried it might not be the safest option

Went to the town's xmas market today, didn't spend anything there but bought a few things in the shops. Got 2 shiny £2 coins for my pot plus a 20p picked up in BHS, 2p roadkill and 56p out of my purse.
I saw some of the savings tins usually found in £shops for 89p each in the new shop that used to be tjhughes. There were some larger ones ... £2.99!!!!
Didn't buy either, I like the one I've got.
Hugs to all who need one.S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50

GAP, you're so right, though I'm amazed others haven't said it before. I'm blowed if I'd cut into a tin...they cost a POUND!!!!! I'd NEVER smash my Terramundi either...no way!!! You hang on to that tin, Gap!!!:snow_grin :xmassign: :xmastree: Sue x :xmastree: :xmassign: :snow_grinAnyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's never too late.

Yeah, i've noticed that with previous pots. it's soo easy to get the money out. But I could never smash a terramundi pot. I'm planning on buying one as a treat to myself in the new year. I'll only fill it with £1 & £2 coins only though.
I stood up earlier and there was a 5p under my bum  I dont even want to KNOW where THAT came from, but its gone in the pot :rotfl:
:rotfl: Sorry, but a little bit of coffee came out of my nose as i read that :rotfl:.

I only put silvers and coppers in mine (no paper money), so if it did get nicked there won't be much in there anyway as it's a fairly small pot.
When i get a terramundi it's gonna sit proudly on my mantlepiece.
21p in the pot yesterday:T - nothing today . But found out the boss is on his hols for the next 2 weeks, so every cloud..... :rotfl:Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge # 89 - £00.83p

Funny look from colleague as I almost got run over saving a 1p from the road on broadgate. Then waited patiently for 5 minutes whilst a man stood on top of 1p on the platform at moorgate. If anything I'm learning patience :-)Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Hi Sue
I've been off the radar for quite a while, although I have been saving in my pot member 1267. I haven't opened it yet but would like my total to be recorded for the new year as a new start, when does it start? or has it started already. Sorry tend to ramble a lot. Honeybear68:money:0 -
car is going as its took a turn for the worse. so i might actually find some roadkill.. i dont really need a car atm, so i could save a small fortune on tax/mot/running costs.. could have £500 by the end of january if i scrap the car.. which is what im planning on doing this week/next week
edit- meaning ill be walking or getting the bus..Sealed pot challenger # 10
