helloooo potters
I put my first note in yesterday lol - felt quite rich putting it in - a fiver! Blacksmith came to shoe my horse and said he could put same shoes back on due to little wear so I got a discount.
Also as petrol is still looking good in my tank I only put £18 out of the buget £20 note so got a nice £2 coin to put in my tin. Its starting to feel like it has something in now which is great.0 -
I've put my number on my signature so I don't get shouted at
:D:A
I must also get to the pound shop and buy a sealed tin as I currently have £4 in a fairy liquitabs box and OH will have the money out of that Sellotape or no Sellotape :rotfl:0 -
If I see 10p lying unattended on the table in the staffroom - is it mine to take? Or am I stealing?
This is my dilemma this morning.
I've counted it as roadkill and it's sitting on my desk till I get home tonight.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -

Morning pottterssss,
The bankers are getting in the festive spirit, 1p found on the way out of the gate at Old Street and as soon as I passed through the gate I spotted my best find yet (other than the trolley the other day) a shiny £1 coin left by some fat cat as they were too busy rushing about to notice the world around them
Also, threw in about £2.70 odd this morning from purse.
Happy potting everyone.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Hi wannabee_in_credit, so long as it's a communal area/room where it could have been just about anyone who'd left it then I certainly do not see it as stealing at all. IF it had been lying on a person's desk or in their room then yes, you would have taken what was theirs! You're ok and are on the right side...
.....apart from which - if our sparky had been stealing every time he took money off the canteen tables he'd be serving a stretch at HM Pleasure!!! :rotfl:
I'm pleased you asked the question, thanks.
Brilliant news, mushy pea! Though I think that's why SPC works so well as it spurs us all on to do as well as we can. A classic example is LAM's....
Welllll done, LAM!!!!! :T You're saving from just about everything possible which is GREAT news! Did I hear a horse neigh???!
Thank you for popping you No on stephga, though tis sparky that hollers, never ME!!!!
Hiya LC 2, a lovely windy day here, but with torrential downpours every now and again - even our Lab would NOT go out of the door earlier - she HATES rain! Your poor DH and there's you taking the mickey. Men and colds don't bode well though, for sure. I hope he's soon feeling much better.
WOW!! That is some find, kerri!!! Very well done, [STRIKE]bless that banker[/STRIKE]...nah forget that bit. :rotfl:Good to hear you put some of your own in too - makes a change!
Oh then elfen..though it wasn't so much a question as a remark. Let us know when he does though
Well spotted, jakes-mum!Enjoy the rest of the day, ALL.:snow_grin :xmassign: :xmastree: Sue x :xmastree: :xmassign: :snow_grinAnyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's never too late.
