this will help me get more of those bargains now too, i love this challenge thank you so much its showing me that i aint totally mad when i hunt those bargains out LMBO

I'd made up a little foodie hamper for my Mum's friends Xmas present. Anyway, when my Mum rang her friend to ask what to get for a present for her husband (he's difficult to buy for), she said we'd agreed last year not to do presents anymore! I'm quite glad really as it was beginning to be a pain and I never even see them, so my Mum bought the hamper from me to give to another relative. Saved her a trip to the shops and got me a tenner in the pot

I see this thread is still moving at a rate of knots. Just managed to catch up after not being online all weekend. Potting away like a good 'un, though, with something going in every day.

Just been to co-op with this weeks £5 off £30 spend, got my bits (and it was all stuff I would usually buy ) got to the till, handed over voucher, then discount card and she says 'oh theres £9 on dividend on your card do you want to use it?' hmm let me think :think: YESS!! so having worked out what it should have cost against actual spends, total is . . . Original Cost £46.38 , Total paid £14.31, so Total saving = £32.07 :j :j so in honor ive chucked £7.07 in the pot, plus I found 1p roadkill by the kiosk and ive got a random 53p in my pocket so thats gone in too

So total in today is £7.61

Had Amelia Lilly in the sweep at work . I won £12 so in the pot it goes. Stop watching X factor after all the daft ones have gone, so when I found out who I had I didn't have a clue .

Your DH sounds just like mine, quintwins, puts all the mail, paperwork etc in a heap on the table then when I'm searching for something "Oh well, you must have put it on the windowsill!" It's always discovered in his bundle - always!!! Men!
