Thanks guys, so far I don't think the reality of it has hit me properly, one of the girls I work with had her hubby go at the same time and is utterly in bits, this is my third time so I think I've probably spent the last few months being practical about it all so still am, kinda dreading it hitting me properly though! Still until then I plan to keep enjoying the peace and quiet at home, the fact that the food I buy and put in the cupboard/fridge is still there when I go to eat it, and did I mention the stacker crate full of vodka :rotfl:
Am home from a circuit of the local pubs with some small change for the bottle and 30p road kill.:DIt’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Oh ladies (chrimson.addict, scubaangel and EverThe Optimist, my heart goes out to the three of you. Will keep you and your loved ones in my prayers. In the early 80s my brother was in the South African army when they fought the border war with Angola which they crossed into from Ovamboland (in the north of South West Africa, now called Namibia). I know what that feels like. Keep smiling and yes, vodka does help!!:D Here's raising my glass to all of them coming home safe and sound:A

Youre in your 20's! you should live every day as if you are still 21!! you have to 'grow up' in three years and three days!
Granted i'm 23 and live life as if i'm in my 50's but ignore that fact.
I'll have my 20's when i'm old and past it i think!
I dont think this statement would have succeeded in cheering you upSealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

This was a bit too burnt to be nice, sadly:(
I might try the Nutella idea though. Another good snacklet is toast with chocolate on (put under the grill to melt the (ideally mega-dark) chocolate and add a teeny sprinkle of salt before you eat it).Sealed pot challenger#1677
