A Very Happy Birthday to you dear Ruth! So sorry the greetings are belated, but I promise they mean just as much. I was so sad to hear about your cake disaster, but - you've been spared all those calories! Far fewer in this one:bdaycake:;)
I ate the cake anyway, well some of it, and just picked out the plastic. It was nice i couldnt help myself. I did however eat far less than i would have minus the plastic so i all worked out good. My niece liked it so much she asked for another (without any additional ingredients this time lol.
Thank you everybody so so much for my birthday wishes. Every one of them made me smile xSealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

This is my 1st visit back to this web site this year - kinda went pear shaped at the end of 2011 so don't think I am on the list. Can you please give me a number?
Anyway, things are probably going to get pretty tough for 2012 so am trying to prep now to help contain the fall out - just found out I could have been claiming council tax benefit, I didn't even know it existed!
Betsie, your number is 1405

I knew I'd popped the odd £20 note in but must have managed to do it once a week. I thought there might be £150 - incredible how it built up. :j:j:j
DH resealed with Duck tape and has signed it telling me he will quack if he sees I've raided it! :rotfl:
Starting again now - will aim for the next £500 by the November deadline.
Wanted to share my lovely surprise with you to show that little and often really builds up.:D:D
Good luck, well done and happy potting everyone.:T:T:T

Nu1isit - DH says you can have me as then his change might remain where he leaves it
Ahh Susanne, im not sure you could deal with the change scrumive got sharp elbows and am not above pushing over old ladies in the street to get a penny, I even have a special stick to poke in the back of the legs of local teens when they stand in between me and some roadkill :rotfl:
You are my kinda girl !!! Scrumming is good and I am a quick learner! Together we could be invincible (and rich) ...

Sorry Susanne I had visions of you and jakes-mum, 'tag teaming' poor old ladies, youths and evryone in between, at the self checkouts, elbows flailing ...A scary thought   ....however, if you ever need a manager    (for a percentage of course), I'm your man

Will be potting 58p later! How I ended up with that left in my pocket, I have no idea. At the beginning of the week, I usually leave the weeks bus fare in my coat pocket, so there's always £5.50 of change there.
However, this morning I find 58p in there and I'm not sure why.
Looking good too for potting a fair amount on Sunday evening too. Have managed to not spend anything for 4 days, so I'm rather pleased with that.Sealed Pot Challenge No 3060 -
