I am pleased to say that I am having another NSD today. I have done so well with this challenge as this time five years ago every penny I had I spent. Working lunches have turned to sandwiches on my own in the lounge, new dresses have turned to borrowing from friends or wearing the same dress more than once. Being in debt has turned into being in credit. I am so proud of my myself at the moment and remaining strong using the threads here to keep me on track when I am feeling a little weak. x

Thank you everyone; the thank you's for my posts make me stronger too. x

I always think one of the hardest things you ever have to learn is how to change your habits, I changed mine years ago, im now working on DH's and thats a much harder mountain to climb :rotfl:

  • Happy Monday Morning to everyone!

Only potted bits and peices this week, but then yesterday morning i cleaned my crockery cupboard out in preparation for my new kitchen being fitted at the end of the month (getting organised early!!) and i found £7 hiding in a cup :j

I have a habit of putting change inside things, i'm still searching for a £20 note that i put away just before Christmas - you never know it may still turn up!

Thanks Sparky...I had a wee read of the first post and already have put £0.28 into the pot. :D Just need to get a sealed pot though. ;)

My first off my workplace change chucker. 2p in the tin :)

However. Some of the others poked their noses in! When one asked why she was giving me her change she told em. Then they came out with idea that maybe she should chuck it all in a cup and if we get to a pound then we spend it on a work lotto ticket.

    Not happy

Your posts always make me smile :D

  • Hi everyone,

I actually managed to add £1.80 to my pot yesterday. At this rate it will take me years to reach my 2012 target :D!!

Change of tactic: I think the time has come to relieve DH of the change in his pockets. Punishment for not hanging up his suits!!! He won't miss it anyway.

Tons of snow up East Anglia way though! Absolutely amazing, spent the day making snowmen with her daughter and throwing snow at the dog (he keeps trying to eat it!)

It's great isn't lashley82? I like it when ours snaps at it in mid air, like he's trying to catch a frisbee :rotfl: :D :rotfl:...He always looks over pleased with himself :p.

A lovely 50p for us today. It's sitting in my pocket and I rather it goes in the pot, than on 'rubbish' :A.

    Happy Potting everyone :D
