I'm just in stitches at the reaction to my colleagues treatment of the coppers, its too long to list all you lovely people but its pertty unanimous to say the least. I mean its the same as mine, I can't believe someone would do that
I mean look, I've not been the most frugal of fellas over the years (its one the reasons I'm here after all!) but I'd never chuck change. My old man and old dear have always had a massive change bottle to chuck bits in and its a habit I've kinda always took on. I just dont understand why someone wouldnt want to put it all side and potentially have a nice surprise at the end of it.
I explained last time I did this and I cracked the pot open in June just gone the change totalled about £60! Theres no selling it to some people eh[STRIKE]PDL1 £1020.88/£1020.88[/STRIKE]P2P £1274.60/£1537.63 PDL2 £175/£350 PDL3 0/£259 PDL4 £189.77/£503.92 PDL5 0/£194.25 Cd1 £987.20/£1000 Cd2 £725.38/£750 Cd3 £286.69/£300[STRIKE]Zebra £325.80/£325.80[/STRIKE]CF £398.85/£1305 OD £793.37#321 TOTAL £3735.63/£8639.85 by 1/4/13Clear by April Fools for being a Fool, falling back into old ways0 -

Well today ive been down the shed to pop the washing in the dryer and I spot a 2p in DH's open tool box (well he obviously wanted me to find it or he wouldnt have left his tool box open would he?
) so I think 'well as im here better clear out the dryer trap' so get out the net and clear all the fuzz off and decide to stick a screwdriver in the trap hole . . you know . . just in case theres a rouge 20p in there
well had a fish about and here a chinking noise and think 'woohoo!! ive got a coin!!' so off I go and find the torch, and have a good look in the hole and I see a few silvery round things winking up at me . . .
Well Im getting excited now and get a table spoon and a skewer and spend the next 30 minutes 'fishing' in my dryer trap, using the skewer to dislodge the build ups of fluff in various corners, brought in what I found and have got £7.03 in change
So a whopping £7.05 in my pot today (albiet a bit dusty) from doing a bit of washingSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Sorry I never update on here enoughthe thread moves really quickly and I don't seem to find any bankers pennies at the moment grrrrr.
Anyway, I was thinking how I hadn't found anything in ages as I got off Old Street this morning, not through lack of looking I'll have you know, and what do I spot a shiny penny on the floor of Old Street tube station. Picking this up with gloves on was somewhat challenging as pennies are but thin and there was no way! I was going to take my gloves off this morning bbbrrrrr.
Then lo and behold what do I see as I shiver my way up the steps, a lovely little five pence on the floor. Now you try picking on of those blighters up with gloves on, I must have looked like a right scrounger trying to do that! Thirty seconds later, I'm six pence up and skipping my way along to work
Happy potting everyoneDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
