Hi everyone, £1.67 in the pot over the weekend and £2 today.

Oh completed the Tough Guy Competition in Wolverhampton and gave me all his change in his pockets for my pot...

savings target updated for month....nearly half way to my mortgage fund! Yeah!

Ooooo I was so :mad: this morning as Miss Lily has lost ANOTHER tube of toothpaste, why can't children brush their teeth in the bathroom?? Why do they wander round the rooms with a brush in their mouths and just put stuff down willy nilly?? . . . anyway DH came home and after gently pointing out to me I was going crazy over a 1/2 tube of kids toothpaste , took me to Co-0p for some more. At the check out I look down and spot a lovely 5p gleaming up at me so picked it up and popped it in my pocket smiling away. Then the car starts beeping as its got no fuel and DH is off to an interview today so says 'shall we go get some fuel now or i'll leave early and get it later?' I say we may as well go now as we're in the car anyway. He fills up (139.9p a litre :eek: :eek:) I wander off to the kiosk grumbling and queue up behind a bloke whos paying with his card, have a look round while im waiting and spot a 20p infront of his foot :eek: so im willing him not to look down . . . he doesnt . . . its my turn to be served, I chuck my points card at the woman and while shes faffing with that, stoop down and nab the 20p off the floor

so a fab 25p roadkill today (DH just shook his head at my manical laughter . . . he really doesnt get the thrill of potting other peoples money :rotfl:)

I agree with you, jakes-mum, kiddies should always brush their teeth over the sink in the bathroom so any spillage is caught and tubes are replaced where they came from!
