How good would that be?! :jI dream about when I open my pot sometimes........:o...but in my dreams I open it and there is hundreds of pounds in there. It's a good dream.

recurrent-ostrich - I used to dream that I walking along the street and there would be some coins laying there so I would pick them, and further down the street there would be more coins, I loved that dream :) Coincidently I haven't had that dream for ages, and neither have I found any roadkill for ages either :rotfl:( one cent last week which my daughter actually found ;))

    Afternoon everyone
Woke up this morning to ice on the car and some ar*e h*le had removed my windscreen wipers, off my 3 year old car, good job it wasn't raining or I would have had to walk to work this morning. So I've just nipped out of work to replace them to the tune of £19.98, not impressed at all, I can tell you. I hope the fleas of a thousand camels infest their crotches, the thieving s*d's

Sparky - sorry to hear about the stolen wipers. Years ago some thieving jerk cut the seal on the windscreen of my hubby's work van and stole some power tools. Hubby didn't realise until he was sat in the van and thinking something looked different :rotfl:, the windscreen was left leaning against the wall all intact, tax disc and all. I suppose it could have been worse. So hubby had to take my car and I have the job of taking the van to the garage 8 miles away, with no windscreen  I like the thousand camel fleas analogy, slow and painfull :rotfl:

What a rotten sw***/s, sparks, such a really mean thing to do just for the hell of it. I'm all for those fleas giving him/them h!ll though!!!!

Just a quickie as it's tea time and I'm starving!

Well done everyone, be careful of the notes in a terramundi though, recurrent-ostrich - unless you're going to smash it in November and I'm blowed if I'd do that to mine.

Right I'm off for my roast lamb!!!!! :j

More shrapnel today, I am so looking forward to payday on tuesday it's ridiculous.

Keep up the good work everyone, and huge hugs to those that need them.

Sparky, years and years ago someone nicked our windscreen overnight. Hubby thought it was draughty when he set off for work! :rotfl: I can laugh about it now but it caused no end of trouble replacing the tax disc etc. Hope you find the low-lifes who took your wipers.

Not been out of the house today so no pennies for my pot today :( it looks so forlorn :( wonder if I tickle DH, when he squirms would he chink  Is the threat of retaliatory tickling worth the hope that he might have a couple of coins in his pocket

Evening all. Phew what a day, haven't stopped for a moment, but I'm now relaxing on the sofa enjoying a nice rest!
Potting news........ Son is also in on the act now!!! :j He quite happily plonked himself down next to me and declared he'd contributed 10p to the pot!:rotfl::T This time next year, we'll be millionaires!!! *wishful thinking*

I am so lucking forward to counting that tin, and it's only January! Roll on November. I think Feb might be a light month potting wise, as it's sons 18th at the end of the month, and we're allowing him a small gathering of roughly 30 friends to descend on us for a party. I must be mad!:eek:
That coupled with the start of his driving lessons might see us a little light of spare pennies, but I shall endeavour to put away what I can.

Hope everyone is feeling fine, and has had a wonderful weekend.

    Huggles to all. x

  • Wish I'd kept a record of what's gone in the pot - am finding it frustrating not knowing - don't want to be disappointed in Nov having overestimated. :rotfl:Very little has gone in this week other than my daily £1. Well done to the rest of you stalwarts, keep at it.

    Eighth Anniversary Combo Breaker
As I get paid weekly, I've decided to see what I have left at the end of the week and put that in the pot. Had a couple of big spends due to my break coming up soon, so haven't been able to put much in.

Potted about 40p worth of 5's 2's and 1's earlier and then found £5 note in my wallet - in it goes!!

Payday tomorrow, and have one more big spend to go then I can start clearing these debts properly.

Sue Thank you for the good wishes for my weekend away, which was really lovely and very relaxing. I hope your toe is fully recovered now.

Sparky Sorry to read about your stolen wipers and the £20 for new ones, it's just not on!

Found £1.29 in an old mug I had tonight, so that's going in the pot. Plus 5p pathway pennies found on a lovely walk yesterday. So £1.34p in my pot today -I definately need a bigger one.

......and finally DH has just bought me a lovely mug of bedtime hot choc with whipped cream on top:jI'm so lucky:j
    Sweet dreams everyone, keep warm!
