I'm properly starting all my savings tomorrow! Payday! :D I did pop the odd change in my wallet into my tin yesterday though, only about 60p but it's a start! :D I'm going to set myself a weekly limit, and then anything left over - into the pot! :D

I have a quick Q - bought a scratchcard yesterday for £2...and won £2 :p ...can that be added to the pot or no? :p

    Hi all,

Hit the motherload today. :j Was looking for a pastry cutter in a drawer I never use (made mini quiches for the kids lunchboxes. Get me :rotfl:) and I found a HUGE zip lock bag full of 1ps and 2ps I'd forgotten about. I never thought I'd be so happy to see a load of shrapnel! My pot's feeling nice and heavy now. :T

    My daily £1 potted..........
  • Hi all,

I managed to find another £2.90 yesterday and will be adding another £1.35 today. I am slowly edging towards my first tenner!!!

I have hidden my pot on top of my cupboard and hope my scrounger at home does not find it. Nothing is safe with a skint student at home!

Have a super, duper day everyone.

    Susanne

  • hi,

i did ask yesterday but no-one replied -

i know wages cant be put into the pot BUT can "tips" given to me go in it? (i work occassionally in a local social club for big functions as bar staff, and we are not allowed drinks for ourselves but can put the money aside for end of shift.)
due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:
