Very many thanks indeed, Kerfuffle, sparky, little_sweetie, and nu1isit?, much appreciated kind thoughts of you all. Didn't have too bad a night though so really pleased about that.
Great news about your e-bay bid, little_sweetie the £2 from your DH too, bad luck on not needing to frisk him!

I'm properly starting all my savings tomorrow! Payday!
I did pop the odd change in my wallet into my tin yesterday though, only about 60p but it's a start!
I'm going to set myself a weekly limit, and then anything left over - into the pot!
I have a quick Q - bought a scratchcard yesterday for £2...and won £2...can that be added to the pot or no?

Hi all,
Hit the motherload today. :j Was looking for a pastry cutter in a drawer I never use (made mini quiches for the kids lunchboxes. Get me :rotfl:) and I found a HUGE zip lock bag full of 1ps and 2ps I'd forgotten about. I never thought I'd be so happy to see a load of shrapnel! My pot's feeling nice and heavy now. :T0 -

Hi all,
I managed to find another £2.90 yesterday and will be adding another £1.35 today. I am slowly edging towards my first tenner!!!
I have hidden my pot on top of my cupboard and hope my scrounger at home does not find it. Nothing is safe with a skint student at home!
Have a super, duper day everyone.

i did ask yesterday but no-one replied -
i know wages cant be put into the pot BUT can "tips" given to me go in it? (i work occassionally in a local social club for big functions as bar staff, and we are not allowed drinks for ourselves but can put the money aside for end of shift.)due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:
