I even thought about selling all my none henry VIII books as i wont read them again but its impossible.
I may try again. I seriously need to declutter!!
Does anyone know anywhere good to sell books?
Hi, Ive recently listed several books on ebay as I got a kindle for Christmas. I have used Amazon and Greenmetropolis in the past, but I do find ebay is best as you specify the end date for the listing whereas the others are just left on there for 3 months or so. I tend to charity shop the odd book and have done that before and forgot I still had some of them listed on Amazon. Luckily, they didnt sell!:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -

All my books are in perfect condition, most of them have no spine bends what-so-ever. It would break my heart to charity shop them. lol, i'll list a few on the next free listing event and see what happens.
I have a lot of CDs i'm going to check music magpie for. I haven't listened to any of them in at least 3 years. I listen to vinyl more lol.Sealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

A very warm welcome, Sammy246 and Absinthe, it's lovely to have you with us.
Enjoy yourself saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 4 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it helps so very much.
Absinthe, whether it's 7p...70p...£7 or £70, it really doesn't matter, it's all savings and no one's laughing at you - truly!little_sweetie wrote:But the real shocker is that my DH has been issued with a speeding ticket for being just over the limit . He can opt for a driving improvement course instead of points but it will cost £75 plus travelling expenses  I am NOT best pleased with him  He does feel very guilty (it's his first in over 40 years of driving) so I can't berate him as much as I would like to
Ahhh, such a rotten shame, little_sweetie, don't be too mad with him though, it happened to my DH a few years ago. I viewed it in the light that.......it's far better to get a ticket than knock someone down...or worse by going just a tad over the limit!!lisalollipop wrote:I'm enjoying this challenge but its annoying that I cant see what Iv got in there!!!
Never mind, lisalollipop, that is the idea of it though.Re your number, always have a look at the bottom of your signature on a previous post and you'll see it.
Please everyone, kindly do not put links onto other sites as it's viewed as advertising. MSE ones are ok, but no others.Sue x

The bad news is that I have just £7.25 in my current account until the end of the month which is a whole WEEK away:eek: I can't even draw it out as the minimum for the cashcard is £10 (do any of the banks shell out fivers these days?)
Oh, well onward and upward!!
Happy potting everyone!
I don't know if you have an asda nearby but our local one has a cash machine that gives out fivers (handy at the end of the month:D)Debt free as of 29.10.2020 🎉😁

i know wages cant be put into the pot BUT can "tips" given to me go in it? (i work occassionally in a local social club for big functions as bar staff, and we are not allowed drinks for ourselves but can put the money aside for end of shift.)due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:
