Ah well, I must weigh less today, had part of my (big) toenail removed again (didn't work 1st time!) this morning! So resting up and talking to you lot. Keep me busy folks! Quote

Ouch! Hope it gets better soon Sue.

Nothing in the pot yet today. Have taken £100 out of it though to start an ISA for safe keeping due to DH and DD moaning. I didn't want to open the pot, after all, it IS a Sealed Pot challenge. Will update sig. with whatever I put in the ISA.
    Hugs to all.
    Be Well.

    hi,

i did ask yesterday but no-one replied -

i know wages cant be put into the pot BUT can "tips" given to me go in it? (i work occassionally in a local social club for big functions as bar staff, and we are not allowed drinks for ourselves but can put the money aside for end of shift.)

Hi yma, I'm not an expert on this challenge but I can't see why you shouldn't be able to. After all, it's similar to finding roadkill IMO.
I'd put it in but if you're not sure, count it and then you can deduct it from the total if it's not allowed.
    Be Well.

I have a quick Q - bought a scratchcard yesterday for £2...and won £2 :p ...can that be added to the pot or no? :p

Richy, YES, it's fine to include scratchcard and Lotto minor winnings...not with major wins though - unless of course I receive a healthy cut!!! :rotfl:

Good for you with the £15.80 from a Euro Lottery win, sparky!

Keep on hunting, Saramond, you never know what you might hit on. Good to hear of your latest find, well worth having.

Go on, Susanne, keep at it and you'll soon be at your first £10er!

Many apologies y-m-a, yes, I don't see why you (or anyone else) can't include tips

Well done with the tastecard, lashley, bad luck with the patience. :D
Very many thanks, Kerry, you're a gem.

Thanks a lot, Modesty and you're right about the tips.

    Very good, Joyanne!

I found 3 shiny pennies on the floor at separate times yesterday :) Although then I was followed by a lady of the night down the road near my house with her shouting at me because I didn't talk to her. It was only 9pm and I thought I lived in a nice area =|

Found an old scratchcard that I won £1 on as well, collected that today so that will go into the pot! :D Add that to the £2 x 2 I also got today for the £2 saver challenge and it's been a good day! :D

Also had some bargains today i managed to get my little one a pair of school shoes and a pair of boots for £8.00 for the both of them (shop closing down)and i got him 2 games to put aside for his bday both half price in early learning centre and i got the weeks shopping and after all that spending i still had some money out of my weekly shopping budget :-) im loving this saving its stopping me buying stuff when i really don't need it which will hopefully mean when i get to my target weight i can spend my lovely savings on ME for a change :-)

    Evening all!

Honestly, I miss a few days and I've got 10 pages to catch up on! Had my op on Monday and it went really well. I was really sick afterwards and in a lot of pain on Tuesday but feeling better now. We had a bit of a shock when we got to the hospital because my OH couldn't wait with me - had a few tears - then realised I would save a few pounds in parking money! Have just got it out of the car and am potting £4 :D

Will have more to pot tomorrow when I clear the change out of my purse as I'm not going to be going anywhere to spend it!

Anyway, off to start reading all those posts!
