Found 96p in the bottom of an old handbag so into the pot it went. Have not put any "gold" ones in this week, but am picking my DH up from the train station after tea as he has had a few beers with his work mates. So, as I have technically saved him a taxi fare I think that it is only fairthat a couple of shiny (ideally gold coloured!) coins get plonked into the pot. I love the sound the coins make when they drop in...........am I sad lol?!?

    Hi all,

Potted a nice £2 coin today.
I've got two more ready to pot, but my watch decided to stop working this morning, so they may have to go towards a new battery :(
Is it wrong that I begrudge having to use my nice shiny gold coins for my watch, when they really belong in my pot?

Happy Birthday to Lilly, Jakes-mum :bdaycake:....Our biggest's isn't that far away now too, luckily we got her present in the sales :T, 50% off, woo hoo :p..

A stunningly fantastic 8p for the pot today, better than nothing I suppose :D.

Need to pick some fellow ebayers brains though...I sold an item over the weekend that clearly had UK delivery only, but someone from Russia has bought it, I don't want to post it abroad (we've both had a few 'fly' people, trying it on before, when posting abroad ); on top of that it'll cost £95-160 to post it there, I don't have that for a start, even if I was willing to get ripped off...Hence UK only delivery in the listing...can I cancel their bid, and give someone else a second chance offer? Or will there be some sort of comeback for this, ebay or otherwise?

Sorry I know it's off topic, but I'd appreciate your advice - even if you PM me :D...Thanks...

Hope you've all had a good day potting :j...

I've had my bids cancelled when i have bought stuff on e-bay really cheap. Best was a Wii i won for 99p.

If they can cancel mine with no warning you can cancel ones where you have clearly stated UK only.

To be nice, i'd probably e-mail the buyer stating why you are cancelling their bid.

Oooh lots of pennies in the piggy today and over the past week.
Also discovered some raffle money that i had swapped for notes so added about £30 into the terramundi! V Happy.
On another note we have decided that we will do a sealed pot at work for our christmas do- Minimum of £1 each in per week and then any other change we feel like means we will have at least £200 in our pot for the christmas do
