    Good evening Potters,

I swapped my stash of 20ps for 2 x £2 coins yesterday, so that pot now has £66 in it :)

Replaced my £10 which was in coins, but have put a note in the pot now (and re-sealed it). Have decided to keep a £20 note hidden in the house just incase something comes up as it did over the weekend.

Haven't put anything in today though - will start again tomorrow :D

  • Happy birthday for yesterday Miss Lily.

Not been able to get on the computer as my laptop has broke and beyond repair. On the look out for a new one but not looking forward to having to buy it.:(

Found 1p sat on the top of a pot of nail varnish in the living room. They all know the rule if it is lying around then in the pot it goes.

    Have a great day tomorrow

    Good Morning everyone.

Well done, tizzi13, it's amazing what can be saved by making your own lunch each day - think of all the pounds that can be potted over a YEAR!!!!!

Sorry I know it's off topic, but I'd appreciate your advice - even if you PM me :D...Thanks...

No worry on my account, nor MSE's I wouldn't think, nu1isit?, I'm sure they too would expect us to seek advice from those we know best in financial cyber world. If you had only UK on there then surely there's no comeback whatsoever. BTW Why not get in touch with e-bay on their help thingy - where you "talk" via IMing a staff member??

    Aha! Good advice, jakes-mum! :staradmin

    Well done emmlouie!!!!

It might only be £1.98 Debt_free by 2012, but it's still money saved, keep on doing your best and saving wherever possible.

A good way to save for your Christmas do, salduck.

26p is still good, Thriftkitten, it's money saved.
........I ve kind of slept since then (between baby number one teething and baby number two kicking me in the ribs! Oh the joys! :D).

You lucky, though busy, girl, Lookingtothefuture, treasure it all as it flies by all too soon. ;)

Not to worry, mfmaybe, sadly we can't have it both ways..but be happy with your OD!!!! :T

[Quote-rosyq].....but I'm definitely spending less because I want money left to pot:rotfl:[/quote]

Nothing else to worry about then, Rosy, btw, tell your cat there's a 'g' in spelling!

Loved your post, ETO, as always, you live up to your name...the bad at the beginning then being optimistic at the end! :grinheart

An excellent idea, Delilah and any others in the same position where you might just need to dip in..have a dip in pot.

oooooh bad luck with your laptop, mumof3plusoh :( but all the best with a new one. :)

A tenner then, skilly and well done. :D
Have a lovely day all and save well

  • Morning all.
Finally got my 'random' pot up and running last night so there is £2.84 in there now. Completly raided the house for pennies but didn't find much so will try again tonight. Also added to my 20p pot and i now have £70.40 in there :)
I had a thought last night, we could have somewhere where we could all post photos of our pots. I think it would be fun to see what everyone has and different ideas and such. What does everyone think?
