I've had a couple of spend days, but keeping to a very tight budget so just 80p for the pot. Got £11 rebate from gas company - going to use £10 for cinema trip and £1 to the pot.
I now have a competitor for pennies - DD2 came back with a pot from Brownies to collect pennies in for charity. I'm going to have to remember not to fight her for them!

Good Afternoon all. I'd love to join in this group please. I've been reading this and thread 4 for a couple of days and I think it's an absolutely FANTASTIC idea! :T

We kind of already have a similar thing going on at home already, but I've never added to the pot on a regular basis. We, (mainly hub) use a large plastic money bottle (bit like a giants pepsi bottle,:rotfl:) and add loose change to it as and when we remember. It's not sealed though, so I'm going out tomorrow to try to find one of those tins that you can't get to, unless you take the lid off.

I shall be starting from scratch, so won't dip into the bottle that hub uses, I want to see how much I can scrabble away for the year. I read some of the totals on thread 4, and was so impressed at how much you all managed to save, I've just got to join in with this wonderful idea!

So, pretty please, could I have a number please, and could you put me down for a save target of .... Hmmmmmmm.... Do I stay cautious or throw caution to the wind...... To the wind I think, so put me down for £200. Here's hoping!!

Have a great Sunday all. x

    ETA...

I've just added to my sig area, in the hope of getting my number, and have put my target on also.. Can't see it showing yet, so if anyone can let me know if I've not done something correct, or if I just have to wait for a while before it starts to show, I'd really appreciate it x Thank You.

I have some coins to pot today. We're in the process of ripping out storage heaters so we can put in proper gas central heating and we found 47p behind there! Its all currently in vinegar cos the coins were filthy. But they will have lots of friends in my pot once they clean up abit!
Was debt free then ex walked out and COVID hit.
