Morning Sue
Just popping on to say thank you for moving us to our new home.
Well done everyone on the great results and look forward to seing the Grand Total over the next week or so.
OOOh the excitment yesterday whilst getting ready for the pot opening - had butterflies in my tummy. :rotfl: Mind you - I have become very protective of the contents - after all I have nurtured it all year.We have earmarked a couple of small amounts for different things but we haven't decided on the majority of it yet. Its just fantastic knowing its there

Morning Potters (sos Jakes Mum had to knick that term - I love it)
Gosh you all did so well in challenge 4 - I am so pleased to be part of challenge 5 as I never save. Have a few pennies / pounds in my pot so far so hopefully I will have a nice surprise next year too.
Sue - do you get any sleep lol- I see you are on here till late and again early in the morning. You do a fab job (and Sparky) maintaining the thread.
happy friday everyone
PS £1.20 gone in my pot today.0 -
Morning all
Well this is my 1st SPC and my target is £500.
I haven't started yet but I will get my pot today/tomorrow and start
I really can't wait to see how much me and the OH can save and it will all go towards a fantastic Christmas next year
Well done to Sue & Sparky for all the hard work that you do and good luck to all SPC-ers

Please can I join this. I don't have an aim - my plan is to put all bus fares in the pot that we don't spend but has been budgeted for. I tend to draw money out of the atm for the week and sometimes have money left over that gets frittered away in town. Everytime we walk/cycle/have a day off bus fares go in the pot! We also buy the odd bottle of wine with the cash we have in a jar, so every friday we don't have a bottle of wine I'll put a few coins in my pot.
I tried last year to do a sealed pot but it got opened when we were strapped for cash for holiday money. I'm far more organised with my money this year and every eventuality has been covered - so I'm hoping to last the year and put the money towards my debts.0 -
Hi Sue, Can I join this challenge please? I'm determined to sort my finances out! This will be the 3rd challenge I have joined for 2012.
Thanks

Howdy Ho everyone! Lovely to see the new thread up and running
Sue - can I please change my target this year from £200 to £500. OH reckons we can do it :j
Off to a good start as a friend of mine came over last night and bought some preserves I'd made (I make them all year) for gifts for her family - I don't normally sell them but she insisted on giving me some money so it all went in the tinSealed Pot Challenge Member no. 048
