Thanks for adding me, hope my sig works
OK inspired by this, I cleared out all my various coin jars (mine and OH) and between us we have £166 going into our savings account:T (I guess that was last year's SPC!) Then I was putting all the various foreign coins together for the next time I can put them in a Change for Good envelope, and I found nearly €300 in notes and coins! So that's spending money sorted for a wedding we are going to in Spain. THEN I found another $75 which we can use for our holiday in the summer. And the final Brucie bonus was £40 in notes, plus about £6 in coins in my travel wallet. I had taken them out of my main wallet before I went on holiday last year, and forgotten about them. Today has been a very good day :rotfl:
So I have put the £6 in the sealed pot. Good start I though! The £40 is going against a small debt I need to get rid of as part of my wedding planning. Hope I'm following the rules correctly?
That's an amazing start to a day!Scrappie

I'd love to join in if it's not too late. We're saving for a deposit on a house right now. Not expecting the pot to make a huge dent in that amount but it will help with something we need when finally move into our own house. I've not done anything like this before but I'm inspired by all the posts I've read tonight! You guys are great!

Oh heck - this thread is moving way too fast for me to keep up!
Well had a NSD today - was determined to not spend a penny. Really wanted to 'earn' and was searching the carpark on the way home for roadkill. Sadly no luck - so will just have to be happy that I didn't spend today.
