  • Got 41p in my coat pocket so that will be potted when I get home. Also found a better pot (my coffee jar is about a quarter full already!) - a 600g Thornton's Moments plastic tub. Going to take it home, paint it (or rather get my neice to throw some poster paints at it then I'll tidy up the mess), and superglue the lid on (with a slot in it obviously!)

    Morning everyone.

I am back at work today and have potted all loose change I found at home (was not counting as multitasking and answering phone at same time lol). I did add a £2 coin to it from my purse after filling fuel for the week. Not been out much over xmas so only drew £10 and then put £8 in :D. Already Tuesday and should be plenty in there for the week. :D

Hi Can I be included please.

Did this a few years ago with a Terrimundi pot and got over £300.

Have got an interesting few months ahead with the missus walking out her job due to a complete ar** of a boss so i'm using that as the spur I need to get back on here and make another concerted effort to sort out our finances!

    My target will be £500
    Welcome back chunkytfg.

  • Just dropped 20p on the floor in my office - eventually found it (just how do 20ps roll so far?!). Also found 50p - obviously been there a while as it was covered in floor fluff - not quite sure if it counts as roadkill but I've naughtily claimed it :j

Popped 20p back in the cash drawer...

A very warm welcome, DollyDabbler, phoebesmum2105, shabbychic12 and Mummynomoney, it's lovely to have you with us. biggrin.gif Enjoy yourself saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

You're already a member, chunkytfg, as I think you realise - No 359. Please pop it on your siggy for me, thanks. Your DW is better working for someone who appreciates her! BTW, your Target has been updated to £500. So, did you ever propose as planned?

Oh moomi, that must have been an awkward time to say the least, if you both live in the same town you could have some serious competition so make sure YOU get in there first!!!! You can picture it can't you...."local kiddie runs for Mum after being seen grappling with lady over a penny"! As sparky says, he'd have knocked him out of the picture!!! He's kidding really...ahem!

49p is GOOD, Hkirsty..so less of the embarrassed faces!

Sounds like a recipe for disaster, mumof3plusoh, you're welcome! :)

Not to worry, nunnygirl, just make sure it's 29th November you've put down! ;)

Happy New Saving Year to you too, ETO, all the best with the spends. Life's like that at times

    A great start, candylucy!:T

Well done with the chooks eggs, zafiro, we gave all ours to our lad and his wife last night.

Behave nahnahnat though you made it right so well done.

Sorry nu1isit?, but the words nu1isit? and angel really don't go together - do they?! :A

Very wise way with kids, Kylieminoag, we need to be on the ball with em!

A Happy New Year to you also, TheBees.

Excellent Delilahh, you'll have to clean through more often!

Thank goodness your BF bought you that pot, kerri or you'd wouldn't have been at all happy.

It's entirely up to you whether you count it, catwoman. Won't do any harm to!

Thanks for the chuckle, fozziebeartoo, images too! :D

You're right, nanto3girls, it's very interesting hearing about the different pots members use, the ways saved too can be an eye opener!.

Glad you got your saving place sorted, Thriftkitten. ;)

That sounds brilliant, Crunchy Nutter, very nifty way to get a good pot. BTW, the 50p isn't roadkill, it's just gains after not having cleaned too well!!!! :rotfl:Cheeky I know, but couldn't resist now could I!!

    Well saved Rainbow-Brite!

    Good to see you LAM!

Morning sparky, our Lab wasn't interested in that wind and rain, she hates it!! Starting to ease a little now so walkies! I see we've both sorted, chunky, but I add to my post as I'm working through so bound to happen at time, not a problem though for sure. Did you & DW have a good night with the meal and film?

That's fine Elmo, whatever's best for you.

Well done with the cash, but bad luck with the work, fishcakes. :D

DH & I went for a lovely night out to our Son & his Wife last night, a really lovely meal and drinks with DIL's parents too. Fantastic food and company.

Well folks after another couple of late comers added their Totals on SPC 4 yesterday, we have another brand new of.......

    hiya fellow potters

    good morning

i won a fiver on a scratchy and thus have put in 3.00 from the winnings in my pot bought another scratchy but lost my 2.00 as i didnt gain any more - never mind

i only buy them when i have a lucky feeling and most times i do win my initial outlay back but this year i will pot at least half the winnings first before i buy another scratchy of course if its loads and loads then i will have a bigger decision to make lmbo

saved 20p on some bread in mr a..i thus put that in my little pot to get to the 1.00 amount to exchange it for a shiny 1.00 coin to put in my main sealed pot

so far so good keep up the good hunting and saving
