Oh, luckycharlie, your last post did make me chuckle! Sounds exactly like me and DH on our shopping trips, I wonderjust how many couples are doing that on a Saturday morning jaunt to the supermarket?! :D

Not much potting going on here (I will take your advice Sue and let DH join in a bit more ;)), but I'm not spending either, so that'll do me!

It's probably going to be mayhem from now on, so I'll wish everyone a very happy Christmas. I hope you all have a wonderful time and Santa brings you what you've wished for!! :santa2:

    Silver x

Just made up the change in my purse into whole £1 coins from last years sealed pot. Didn't actually go to the bank to cash the silvers and coppers in, so have lobbed about £10 into this years pot :D along with the leftover from changing up :)

Very good so close to Christmas, Raspberrysauce. :D
Whatever else has been forgotten we will just have to do without.

The times I've heard and said that, b_e_g, whether it be Christmas, holidays or whatever are countless, tis true though. oooh I do know what you mean about parcels strewn over the bedroom floors too, never sure whether to hoover over the top or what - yes, I'm just joking, though......
A 1p found anywhere, Muppet_baby is still classed as roadkill, well done with all of yours.

Oh dear, LC 2, not the best of times then and at least you've given us a giggle with the way you tell it all. ;) You sorely lost out time wise though, men eh! I don't think my DH is quite like yours from the sound of it, though if I was organised my DH would wonder who I'd been replaced with - twouldn't be any good it it was you now would it!!! :rotfl:

Ah..Kerfuffle...but the mild spells are always broken by the freezing cold - and SNOW glorious, glistening snow! :j I love to see it when it's pristine and no one's put their gert hooves in it, lovely.:grinheart

Many thanks for your greetings, Silver and I hope you also have a wonderful time and a New Year filled with all you need, same goes for everyone.

What's this then, kerri, no clearings of the platform jewellery?? Or no Wbankers about. Well done with what you've potted.

Hiya izzoh and well done you. plod, plod, plod , Is her alright I ask myself??

  • An hour in line to pick up the turkey this afternoon after work had kicked out for the holidays . . . The wife of the butcher kept nipping out with sherry & nibbles to keep us going . . .

  • Put a fiver in today, and some shrapnel. I am finding that now I'm on this debt busting strict budget, I actually have less cash as I'm no longer getting £20 out willy-nilly like I used to. Having cash is such a rarity that I begrudge spending it, so it languishes in my purse for ages then gets potted! Was hoping to have about £500 by next December, but I think I'll have to bring that right down. It's good really as we're taking our debt down, but I'd love to open my pot to a huge total next year!
