Have been having a crazy last minute "toy culling" session over the past few days in a desperate attempt to make space! Anyhow, found £1 coin under the sofa and religiously potted my £1 from today's shopping trolley. Rather pleased to have managed to launch a few gold ones in there!!!
Have a great Christmas everyone. Not had chance to read through this thread properly, but will catch up in a few days time. Really hope that there are some pics of peoples pots (posh and home made versions!). Fancy the idea of making my own pig as per link on 1st page.:)0 -

Hellooooooooooo Potterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs
Well I was really hoping to not have to go out tomorrow but I made the fatal error of letting DH do the tesco shopping for me. His entire list consisted of Popcorn, Mistrels, Maltesers (for the family xmas eve video night) and some sausage rolls . . that was it . . . and he bl**dy forgot the sausage rolls but managed to buy 2 bags of popcorn  so now I have to trudge my backside down waitrose tomorrow and battle the last minute.com shoppers
Nowt to pot as he paid with his bank card . . . I do have some change but its from the top I bought with my christmas money and im trying desperately to NOT donate all my birthday/christmas money to the family fund for once in my lifeSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

£5.02 in the pot today courtesy of DGS paying what he owed me. Nearly had an extra penny but I would have been the roadkill if I'd risked getting it from the middle of the road. :rotfl:S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50

A GREAT amount to have just before Christmas, DorsetGirl, have a lovely time.
What a time to have to queue, cashless_wonder! I half wondered if you were going to say the Butcher's wife got everyone so tipsy, she followed them home in turn and nabbed their turkeys back to sell again.
You do what's best for you both, recurrent-ostrich, either way it's such a joy to see how MSE has changed your views about budgeting and being careful with your wonder. Folk like you are a delight to see here, truly. Be proud!
Brilliant news, supasick! My DH did the same with an old pair of jeans this afternoon - and found £2!!!! :kisses3:
