Well done on weight loss hope weigh-in went well. You're doing very well in a few short weeks. I'm 3 weeks in and 8lb down. We had issues with a certain auction website and have to say they were very good at sending us a credit. Just shows perseverance works.0

Hi folks! Thanks for popping by, Ammonite and NKN! I'm 4 weeks in and 11lb down, so not bad! Can finally wear normal jeans instead of my oh so comfy maternity ones!
I found a bargain Jumperoo on eBay, normally they go for £40-50 second hand but this one was £20 buy it now! Very poor description, done on a mobile I think so very brief. The seller had no feedback but was selling other baby toys all at BIN. It has been marked as dispatched so we'll see what turns up!Slow progress is better than no progress.

How many times did you get up to check on her :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Ha ha GG! Didn't technically get out of bed as we've got a video monitor but I may have had a look a couple of times at approx 2:30am and 4:50am!Slow progress is better than no progress.

I love being able to come on here and tell you lot stuff that I can't talk about in real life!
On baby centre there was a thread called 'you know you're skint when...' It started off as a bit of a jokey thread but it quickly turned into people saying the things they have to put up with because they are skint. Some things were horrific, we are in 2012! Now it's not my place to judge or wag my finger as to how they've got in that situation but there were a lot of mothers who were literally living minute to minute.
On the back of that, someone had the fantastic idea to help these ladies by setting up a free cycle board, where other ladies could post items or offers of shopping.
I posted yesterday that I would be happy to donate a pack of nappies, and also arrange for a £25 tesco shop to be delivered. I have been taken up on both of these offers. The shop is due to be delivered between 10-12 and I am so excited to think of how much it will help a family out.
I don't want to come across as a do-gooder, but I needed to share what I've done and how good I feel about it.
It has really made me realise how fortunate I really am, and a bit ashamed of how much money I STILL waste on a weekly basis.Slow progress is better than no progress.

Hi MF, I think that's truly excellent. I certainly don't think people will think you're a do gooder. It is an altruistic act. It's easy to think people need some help, but different entirely to do something. Go girl and you will sleep well tonight

Hello there, just wanted to say I read your diary from beginning to end today and really enjoyed it! Your enthusiasm is infectious, and I've come away with a few ideas to start looking at.
Well done on the Jumperoo, that is a good deal - let me know how you get on with it. A friend offered us one for £60, we politely declined!
