Back and not a happy bunny.
Bought 3 x meal deals. Paid £67.29. Went to CS who called over duty manager - he said he would refund the difference only. He then advised that double the difference was discretionary..... not happy. CS then decided it was chocolate puddings that were causing the problem. Whole shopping amount then refunded and put through again with caramel puddings instead of chocolate. Discount did still not kick in. They then manually charged me £30 for the 3 meal deals.
So am I entitled to DTD or not. Head office are saying no as they store refunded everything and then charged me the correct price - making DTD not applicable.
Any views???
email philip.clarke@uk.tesco.com Each store is getting away with applying their own version of double the difference. The more people complaint to the CEO's office, the matter gets investigated and the staff get retrained and you usually get something for your trouble.0
