I'm really annoyed now reading that more and more people are getting the massive discounts when I went ot my local yesterday and today to find the 25%off isn't working!!! AGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
I've got all family coming to me for Christmas so really wanted to stock up

Now you've confused me! i had it as £48 for the 12 bottles -25%= £36?
yes that is what I thought would be the case, but I remembered that Sainsburys had a similar glitch a year or two ago (but even better I think as it was on 3-for-£10 wines) and they gave the two discounts together.
Every little helps hey?!

Yup, totally agree with you, Calais/ better than Calais prices and no need to travel. A couple of hundred bottles are now residing in the lutzi cellar. Last time I got wine I really like at these prices was Morrisons in November 2007.Hope is not a strategy.0 -

Yep & I no they do the 25% offer every couple of months & in the past have benefitted from the small bottles ect, but the other offers eg 3 4 £12.00 dissapeared at the time!? soo i cannot remember getting 6 x bottles 75cl for just over £2.00 & nice wine ?? Anyone?
& Yes i go to France most years for hol's ( Thanks to Mr T!) & they do have Large boxes of wine that are cheap but are not good, I do feel this is a GReat Glitch At this moment!!!0 -
I have just come back with six bottles of the Lindermans Sydney Cove. £6.79 a bottle.
Sub total on receipt = £40.74
multibuy savings:
Wines 3 for £12 - £16.74
Wine discount - £10.19
Total Savings - £26.93
Total to Pay - £13.81 HTH0 -
Who knows - tills just don't take it off and when I queried they agreed to take 25% off the £12 - when I said all other stores the 25% comes off the full price they said theres no way that is happening and I should be thankful for getting wine as cheap as £12 for 3 bottles anyway. Fuming as I went late last night, then rang this morning to check 25% off was working - was told it was and then it wasn't after I'd dragged two unhappy kids there . Seems pointless going again tomorrow as they clearly aren't gonna get this sortedWhy is the 25% not working for you?

I hope my calculations are correct, this is how I work it out:
You should technically pay £40.74 + £41.94 = £82.68
You should get £20.67 discount as 25% off that price so bringing it down to £62.01
BUT
The till will also deduct £34.68 comprising £16.74 from the White (£40.74 down to £24 for six) and £17.94 from the Red (£41.94 down to £24 for six)
So you will end up paying £62.01 - £34.68 = grand total of £27.33 for 12 bottles of wine!!
If this is correct and I increase the 6 red to 12 red, then I work it out as costing me £40.84 for 18 bottles?
£40.74+£83.88 =£124.62, minus 25% discount £31.16 so brings it down to £93.46
then take off £16.74 for the white & £35.88 off for the red to get them to 3 for £12
£93.46-£52.62= £40.84 for 18 bottles
:j:TMortgage Balance May 25- £9975. Planning to be paid off by Dec 25🎄0
