well i just went back to tesco to sort out the problem for the glitch and they stated the gu [udding is not part of the £10 meal deal yet in the £10 meal deal section they have stacked the gu pudding with all the other deserts that are in the deal. i have taken a photo with my phone and now about to phone HO

It CAN'T be the GU Puddings IF you bought TWO packs of them.

I've done the maths (Not 100% to the penny - I'm 10p out on the total/discount - but I put that down to an inaccuracy in your posting - perhaps you could check the figures) AND

I'm positive that you got 5 deals NOT 6

That being the case it CAN'T be anything that you bought 2 of - that is TWO of EXACTLY THE SAME PRODUCT. (same barcode)

Any chance the GU Puds were different ?
    perhaps 1 x Chocolate and 1 x Caramel - 1 IS included and 1 ISN'T ?

Perhaps you could post a photo of your receipt for a definitive answer.

As for GU Puds in the deal ?

    Was it this one ?
    Gu Chocolate Melting Puddings 2 X 100G

Because THIS IS PART OF THE DEAL - Says so ONLINE :)

Can confirm this is working in store still. Got 12 bottles of Lindermans Chardonnay and Shiraz for £2.30 a bottle ;-)
  • I just bought 3 each of Hardy's Crest Sparkling Rose Non Vintage 75Cl £6.99 and Codorniu Vintage Rose Cava 75Cl £6.99 reduced from 13.99 each I only got 25% off the 6.99 price not the original. I still had them as wanted as a treat but instead of 20ish coat me 30 ish.

Im sure it waa 25% off the before discount price yesterday
  • i phoned ho and they said i wernt overcharged as i was charged the right price for the gu pudding but because of misleading me they sent me a £10 tesco voucher out
  • hi does anyone know if this offer is in the tesco express stores

    thanks stephx
  • Also can confirm 25% dies come off online orders but just shows in the delivery note. I used 15pound off 75 new online customer spend evoucher, went thro quidco for 5pound new customer cashback (which tracked). I bought 6 x 9.99 finest meal deals (6 sides, mains, desserts and wine) another 3 bottles if wine on 3 for 12 poynd and a case of 12 cqns of kopparberg for hubby.

    Subtotal was 80
    Discount 15 off new customer = 64

Then wen I just collected (cluck and collect) I paid 47 pound plus few pence taking.into account quidco makes 42pound for 6 meal deals 9 bottles of wine and 12 cans kopparberg

    Bargain!!!!

Apologies for spellings/grammar in on phone outside Tesco!

Thanks op for heads up x

If it works on all champagne too then this one which is half price will end up costing £52.44 for 6 bottles (thats £8.74 per bottle instead of £30 a bottle it originally sells for) if the discount id taken off the original price. Bargain for anyone who wants champagne

  • Can confirm 6 bottles of gallo White Zinfandel just gave a JTD voucher for £17.74 (I think that was the exact value but def £17 something) bought yesterday, receipt details done last night and about 12 hours later I've got the email back with the good news ;)

 Second part of the plan worked, just got a JTD voucher back off my champagne for £14.99, making a £30 bottle of Heidsieck £7.50 a bottle

    Well done!

    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/search/default.aspx?searchBox=heidsieck

    This is the maths...

    £29.99
-25% £7.50 (assuming you buy at least another 5 bottles of something else to qualify for the minimum purchase requirement of 6 bottles)
JTD £14.99 as A charge £15 for the same bottle
    Net cost £7.50

Don't mean to state the obvious but for anyone who isn't familiar with JTD - only buy one bottle of this at a time as the JTD voucher is capped at £20 and this one bottle alone will give you a voucher for £14.99.
If you're not scared, you're not paying attention
