got annoyed today when 2 unsolicited callers put the phone down on me:mad::mad::mad::mad:I was not rude esp to the 2nd as I explained I was cleaning my teeth which is why I sounded odd.

went to flower club and won an arrangement in the raffle:j:j:j
just got some hair colour to test in the post in ahuge envelope and it had all come out of the box but thankfully not out of individual parts!had an email from GH mag who sent it asking what I thought of it errr it came today and said dont use until you do a 48 hour test patch!!!!
also just tried a sample of Boss bottled for a survey yeuk so sweet def not for my DH

Really excited cos I have a load of UUs, will report imminently when I remember what they are.

However, there is also an IN to report........just returned from Christmas shopping in Birmingham. I don't live there but hubby and I decided to go somewhere different for shopping and stay overnight. My husband doesn't 'do' trains except in empty first class compartments (he claims not to dislike trains per se but finds being crammed in with other people disconcerting. He should try commuting into Leeds every morning, that would cure him!) so London was out, Manchester is too close to home and Glasgow and Bristol are too far away. So Birmingham it was, and it was lovely. Anyway whilst in Boots buying Benefit set (for somebody else!) and under influence of free plastic thimble of pink champagne decided that in order to take advantage of 'spend £50 and get £12 in free points' offer I should buy something else. Yes, I could have stockpiled toothpaste or something boring but I didn't. I bought a S&G 'peaches and clean' cleanser for £7. Ha!

Actually, not sure who the defiant 'ha!' was aimed at. Think I needed a break from the austerity regime. At least £7 is a cheap thrill!

BTW Tillyvision, liked the 'haggard hair' description. Think we've all felt like that!

sarah i believe in that kind of karma as well. I once had a spare £5 off voucher for Lidl so i gave it to a lady with two trolly's full and a little chaplet with her.
