Bacon 49p (should be £2.99) x 4 packs
Pasta sauce (for lazy days!) 39p instead of £1.99
Cheesecake for 75p instead of £2
Plaice fillets for 69p instead of £2.49
I spent £6ish, taking me over my grocery challenge budget for this month by mere pennies, but we have enough bacon for ages now and the cheesecake was tastyIt was also my treat for a good night at Fat Club - I've now lost three stones since June
Well done Fresian!By Jove I love a bargain, I liked reading ur little list of bargains here! My OH was so sweet the other week, there were loads of packs of mince reduced down to 10p each and he came home with some, told me he didn't know how many it would be polite to take...so I said, well I hope you got loads cuz I would have done...Yep I have trained him well..he got 10! :rotfl: haha, we're still using them for my famous Spag bol. Lovely stuff.
Ohh and also Happy Birthday for yesterday Fresian, and WELL DONE on losing three stone, that's amazing, you must be so pleased! :T
I have been very unwell the last couple've days, but that does now mean that I can report NSDs no.5 and 6 :j Getting there...

It would've been but smashed my NEW flask on my way into work (I'd only bought it last week  - fingers don't work well in the mornings and lost my grip on it and it was an old fashioned glass one ) and I just cannot function without proper coffee in the morning:o.
So a trip over to the staff canteen for a latte (and therefore couldn't resist a scone to go with it:o) and came out a bit poorer:(
Will be a spendy day tomorrow too as need to get the final bits of Christmas shopping done.
Hope everyone's "a wiggling"!:)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Evening everyone - right own up WHO is stealing the hours out of my days?!
Been another busy week and I'm not even sure when I last posted. I can advise that Wed wasn't a NSD, had to get outfit for a showcase I'm doing on Sunday after Mr A lost my inital order (cue some frantic running about). However, yesterday was NSD #4 (slightly pathetic on my part given the date already but hey ho ho ho ho it is nearly Xmas :rotfl:)
Today wasn't a NSD, got my caterpillars threaded and also managed to get some of the OEP dinner kits that were glitching in Mr T (so guess what's for dinner tomorrow) Not sure what tomorrow will hold - don't know if the OEP will still be glitching (prob not) but do need some 'proper' food other than soup and tortilla kits :rotfl:
Can't believe xmas is so close. Been delivering some xmas presents tonight and still have more wrapping up to do. Can I defer xmas until 2012 please :eek:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Good morning all!
Lots of black ice around here this morning - slipping all over the place with doglet this morning!
Had a great time with Mum at the Christmas market. We had a lovely lunch and then spent a couple of hours toddling around the stalls and watching the kids on the ice rink and at the fair! My Mum had never been into see all that at Christmas as my Dad cant walk too far, so it was great to see her enjoy it!
Treated each other to a lovely Christmas decoration - not really expensive but worth every penny!
Today I plan to have a NSD - OH is working so I am going to get stuck into the housework and finish my wrapping. Not much to do now, but it will be good to get it finished!
I've noticed Spoon hasnt been around much lately - I hope you're ok? Not the same without a wee post from you!
Have a lovely day everyone
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0
