  • Very unexpectedly got NSD #7 yesterday as my OH paid for my dinner when we went out to celebrate my birthday! We went to steak night at the pub, which was delicious and also quite cheap (£6 for a 6oz steak dinner)!

Going into town tonight to get a few last bits for xmas so today will probably be spendy but will confirm tomorrow

Jinty - thanks for the thought about the guarantee. I had a look online and it looks like the bin should have a 10yr one, it was 5-6yrs old so well within time, AND I have found the receipt (very faded but it's still readable) so I'll give them a ring tomorrow.

That's great Kerri-hope I managed to save you some money there!;)

Sadly I have no NSD's to report - it's been one of "those" weeks so far! Work is mental this week, glad to be off, but am still winding down from the stress! NOT GOOD:mad:
Spend day today, groceries, parcels to post, preordering of puddings for Christmas Day and general expenses!
Am home now, just got dog to walk, then I plan to sit on my bahooky with a nice wrap and a pile of mags that I havent got round to reading!
Lost another half pound at WW today - 28.5lbs off so very happy, considering I had a night out and a lunch at a Chinese buffet this week.

OK I'm off to enjoy the great outdoors - Happy Birthday to all those celebrating and have a lovely day everyone!:)

  • Hey all! Finally managed to get online today. No internet when I got up, recorded message on Virgin cs saying there was a fault in our post code area, finally been fixed for about 20 minutes. Felt like my right arm had been cut off!

I've finished Christmas shopping, hooray, just waiting for a few bits to be delivered then let the wrapping commence! That's my favourite bit of Christmas, sitting in the evening, Christmas songs playing surrounded by wrapping paper and gift tags!

Yesterday & Tues were planned spendy days - shopping, diesel & pressies - but nothing to get today so nsd7 to declare and target met. :j:j:j

I'm going to go for a new target please BDINI - 10 please. That should be more than manageable being not even half way through the month.
    Clean credit file:12 mths
    Car loan: FREE! :j
    THE PLAN: 1.Pay off debt £8808.42(£3254.45, £1570.32, £2698.33, £0:dance:, £1000, £285.32) 2.Save monthly for Christmas/insurance etc £150 per month 3.Save for emergencies /£1500 4.Save for our B&B £????depends which one takes our fancy :D
