Sliding in to declare NSD #9 today :T

It's icy out there tonight, I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere.

  • Evening all.
Well after a week of spending and my Christmas do last night I'm very happy to report NSD #3!
My OH paid for a much reduced grocery bill this week then I've spent the day taking the kids to visit grandparents.
Now I'm finished at work for the year I'm starting to feel festive. Certainly the mild hangover reminds me it's almost Christmas.

Hey Spoony! we've missed you (though BDINI is doing a sterling job this month :D)

Well as predicted, not a NSD today, had to do a 'proper' food shop before xmas - don't think I've seen our fridge quite so full of frivilous treats for a long time - more cheese than button moon (my weakness :o) Nearly collapsed when shopping bill came to nearly £80...however, once I was done with APG, MOC and our reloadable card it was a much more respectable £7-odd :D then kicked myself as I realised had I been a bit more organised I could have managed to split it into two £40 shops and save an additional £5  (bought some socks for OH and a couple of packs of biccies for the food bank in a second transaction) - so socks might have to go back and be repurchased with another £5 off £40 coupon I have after xmas - goodness, I do take this MSE stuff seriously at times :rotfl:

hopefully a NSD tomorrow, got our dance showcase tomorrow, super hectic day getting to rehersals then home then back again for the evening show so prob won't have time to spend. OH might be nice and buy me a drink after my performance :A just hope I don't forget anything .... like my outfit

hope everyone is geared up for xmas. Just the xmas dinner trimmings for me to get - prob do that on Wed morning - had coupons for MnS, Mr S and Mr T but will prob use some nectar points from Mr S - not much to get, piggies in blankets, stuffing balls, gravy, parsnips and jucie. Oh, and puddings (don't like xmas pud or xmas cake so just going to get some of the tiny Gu ones or something like that)

    Hi Suzi
The NTN thread is the "notice to newcomers" thread that a group of us bump up the board regularly - it tells newbies about trolls and what idiots they are - come and say hi, we don't bite:D

Enjoy the party, sounds like fun:j:j

Aww thanks, kerri, I've missed you guys too.

BDINI is indeed doing an awesome job this month, ably assisted by LMH:D

I'm in awe of your shopping bill - can I give you my list please?

Hope the showcase goes well tomorrow x
