Will have to get a day ticket for the bus, saddle up and get on with it as I have never driven in snow before and don't really want to start now
Yes I am in Edin ( near the sea!) I was a bit of a shocker this morning, hopefully that's it! Hope you managed your shopping ok ( or messages as we like to call them up here!:rotfl:)bottleofred wrote: »Good morning from a cold and very hungover Red:o
The office Christmas party was last night and I enjoyed the wine a bit too much:mad:
I hope everyone is well, getting into the festive spirit and has a good weekend. Yesterday was a spend day for me, but hopefully today will be an NSD, although it's very early yet.
Ooooooooh Red I feel your pain - office party, eh? Hope there werent any unsavoury moments with the photocopier:rotfl::rotfl:
Today I did spend, got OH to take me to Lid£, got stocked up on some bargains and I needed to get some tins of soup etc to take in to the church. We make up bags for folks who need a wee extra help at Christmas. Makes you realise how bloomin lucky we are.
Wrapped my presents and wrote the cards so feeling rather pleased:)

Evening everyone - sorry I've been awol again, just don't seem to be enough hours in the day atm. OH had his xmas do last night (I got to play taxi) but started putting the xmas decs up, fell out with the tree when I garland wouldn't sit right (the bloomin tree is only 3ft!) but all finished today, tree decorated, other decs up, and xmas candles flickering nicely. Icicle lights for the window bit the dust when I tested them and they blew up  might not bother with any this year and get some in the sales.
Amazingly managed a NSD yesterdayPicked up the boots I'd put in to be reheeled on Thurs so already paid for. Also got a pic frame and mount for my brothers GF b'day present BUT took the two frames I'd prev bought back and new frame plus mount came in at less than I'd prev paid. Unfortunately the store had ended their 1/2 price frame sale due to a warehouse fire but it really wasn't expensive and they are so nice in the store (it's a lovely shop but could really do with a Mary Portis visit) that I didn't begrudge paying full price.
So, I'm up to NSD #3 ....which isn't really good so far, but hey ho.
Today was a spend day, wasnt' going to go into town but nipped in and got a little something for my mum's xmas (not part of the challengE) and MIL/FIL xmas card - which was :eek::eek: price but hey ho.
Nearly there on the xmas shopping front, 1/2 way there on the card front, house decorated & turkey ordered. Though not sure if I'm ready or not for xmas yet....:eek:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
