  • Welcome wannabee_in_credit, pull up a chair & make yourself at home!!
Your welcome to join in whenever you are ready, & if you want to set a mini target this month, that's absolutely fine, just let me know & i'll add you to the front page..

    Thanks
I've been a bit of a spender today unfortunately... although much more careful than usual. And Saturday is my grocery and petrol day. And we're off to a kids party tomorrow as well.:eek:

I would like to go for a mini target. Is 5 nsds between now and end of the month feasible? In total. Not all in one go. It must be - how can I possibly be out spending money on Christmas day? So yes, please add me to the list and I'll add it to my siggy. The more I get involved the more I'll get from it.:A

I'll need lots of help and advice. I'm terrible for getting bored when I'm in the house and going out and spending money.:eek:

Not one for me today, caved in to a takeaway, but then i have decided to allow myself one treat a week for the first 4 weeks of my giving up smoking ...it's still miles cheaper than the evil ciggies!!
(& yes if anyone is going to ask, i did give up last year, but it kind of went a bit wrong when i got the awful news about the house )
This time i WILL do it!!

Not around tomorrow, as back to Notts (for hopefully the last time, fingers crossed), but will be here for a mega catch up on Sunday, have a good weekend all!!

Ok, you're added to the front page now!!
5 is absolutely feasible, you can set your own rules for what suits you, some people count DD's & bill payments as spends, personally i don't, i just count what comes out of my purse.
People also put money to one side for certain spends (such as the window cleaner, or school dinners) when they are spending anyway, to help them achieve NSD's.
It's all about what works for you & what you want to achieve, but i've found this has helped me soooo much to monitor my spending & keep it sensible, before i started i used to be in the supermarket every night after work buying stuff for dinner that i thought i needed, when in reality my cupboards & freezer were so full i couldn't shut them!!!!!
Aiming for NSD's has meant that i never make more than 1 supermarket trip a week now & save a fortune!!

Anyway, i'll stop waffling, good luck!!
