    I know what you mean! I was really looking forward to my direct debits coming out because then I could change my signature in quite a drastic way!

    There was once upon a time I dreaded those coming out...I'm glad i'm not the only nutter on here!! :D x

    No 36 reporting..Ive still got the hump!! Still got this cold so surgery may be postponed...son is seeing surgeon today so we will find out about his surgery today.

    Still not smoking tho..day 11!!

  • I love the pleasure a direct debit coming out gives me simpy because yes i can update my numbers but i can gage just how much free income i will have as things get paid off :) always something to smile about ... jacci sorry to hear about the surgery, hope sones pre assessment goes ok..... WELL DONE for the non smoking determination and will power galore give yourself a pat on the back, if you can keep off the smoking through this you can conquer the world hehe..... hopefully il be updating some numbers later today xx

  • £8.65 today for me but that completely closes my MBNA account :D. so I am at £578.15/ £10,000. Really need to be paying > £800 per month to meet my target but I have really struggled in January. Hopefully I can pick it up a bit from now on :).

    Jacci good on you for staying off the ciggies. I stopped years ago after smoking 30 a day and it was the best thing I ever did. Keep goin as you will be well chuffed when ou manage it :T

    MIT we owe a similar amount and also want to pay off 10000 this year but like you Im struggling a bit at the mo!!
    Lets hope it gets easier as the year progresses!!

  • jacci44 - well done on giving up the ciggies. it's been 4 years for me now & one of the best decisions i've ever made. i was talking to an ex-smoker friend about how we were able to afford to smoke in the first place. like she said, it was a priority at the time. so true!!

    curious, what does pad mean?? payment a day??
