Hello everyone well down with everything we have already paid off.

Very annoyed at myself today as I've just discovered I have messed up the dates when payments go out of my bills account and the date when money is paid in, it is costing me £130!!! which I would of much preferred to put towards paying off my debt :o

I have made a payment to my debt, £1412.24/£18000
Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases

  • Hi all,

OH payday so I have raided the account for some pennies. I have just sent a £145 OP to mortgage and £75 to the CC (bigger amount went to mortgage as that is 6%, whereas the CC is 0%).

I am on count down to my payday next week, so hopefully I can get the CC down a bit more before 0% ends in April.

    Current total stands at £344.61/£4988.75

    Morning all,

Logged onto my online banking (as I do everyday :D) and my salary has gone in early so I have tweaked my spreadsheets and done my overpayment early - hopefully will have an impact on my interest they add on next week!

So my new balance and probably my last for Jan is :
    #2 = £760 / £7500

Still waiting to hear the damage of the bill on my car but its being done by a friend that is a mechanic so (a) I feel like I cant chase him and (b) no idea how much it will be!

At least January is nearly over :T

£106.91 to Barclaycard OP. Amazingly we had our tax rebate in this morning from HMRC - not even the end of Jan! I've already paid that off the card earlier this week in anticipation of its arrival...

Ok, so January has been a write off for me. I only paid my minimum payment and nothing more. After my annual professional fees came out (need these to work) and I paid my self assessment tax bill (£100) for a small bit of private work I did in 2010/11 that was all my money gone. Oh and I paid for my line rental upfront for the year, and the terrible news was it had to go on to CC, so the total went UP!!! So I need to change my aim to £2800.

    I've decided that February will be a big debt busting month, so I've been proactive today to get ready for a new month. I have;
    • Finally invoiced a customer for some private work done in October, so that will be £30 towards my CC debt (cheque rec'd today)
    • Found 30 Euros which I changed into £'s (no holidays abroad this year) so that was £22 back to my purse to be used for my food shop
    • Have listed 32 items on Amazon, 1 has sold already :T. Admittedly most will only give me 0.50p-£3 back after postage, but every penny counts
    • Have got a MASSIVE bag of things to Ebay (approx 100 items), this will take a long time to list, so I plan to do 20 things per weekend (more expensive things will go on the free listing weekends to save on fees)
    • Have got enough stuff together to Carboot, so add to that the stuff that I cant shift on Ebay, I should have enough to do a Sunday morning bootsale if the weather is good at the end of the month.
    Credit Card 6.9% - £0/£2800
Graduate OD 19.9% - [STRIKE]£1000[/STRIKE] Paid off Sept 11
