It is so great to see everyone doing so well, not only does it encourage me but it also makes me feel a bit better about being so obsessed with trying to be debt free!
I'm turning into a bit of an obsessive, I have just tried to plan everything I think I will spend (on a daily level!) for the rest of the year to try to predict how much I can save from my wages each month. I am now going to try to beat it each month....fingers crossed!
Good luck everyone!
Welcome to the club. Although I don't think you're a fully fledged member unless you're checking your spreadsheets at least once a day and printing them and fiddling about with them and they become more important than eating.
On a serious note, and quite an exciting one, my Woolworths compensation was paid into the bank yesterday and it was a lot more than I was expecting. I got £705.93, so we've kept £100 back as DH needs to get new glasses and the wheels need balancing on the car but the rest has gone onto the Vanquis card bringing that down nice and low and should be gone in a few months :j. I haven't added it to my total yet as I do the cards once the interest has come off which will be a few weeks yet, but it will bring me close to my target so I'm going to bung another thousand on that please jwil.
New total to declare today after paying the Very and I'll include the car payment too as that will come out tomorrow is...

This debt busting thing can be soo exhausting!
I had a few things of low value on ebay this week and managed to make £25 which I have used for an overpayment. I am awaiting a vet bill which may be quite large so I have been stashing my spare pennies but told myself anything else I make eg ebay will go on overpayments. I also cashed in 2 x amzn vouchers from sbucks and £20 in topcashback has tracked so although its not actual money in my pocket I do feel as though it has been a productive week but it has drained me a bit.
Free listing on ebay this weekend and I have a few potential more expensive items I can list so really need to make the time to photograph and list them.
My current total and probably the last for this month is :#2 = £3,396 / £7,500
Hope you all have a fab weekend0 -
Hey everyone, sorry I haven't updated for a few days, will try and do so over the weekend, or it will be Monday.

Well heres me signing in with a tad under £30k to clear, starting from now. Paying £900 minimum payments a month. If i clear £3,600 ish the payments come down to £650. So will be paying off as much as i can this year as was planning on getting on property ladder next year!! Will have to stop thinking about that so much short term and get going elminating all debt first.
Going to put everything iv got into this, eed to come out of this year in a much better position that i am in now if i have any hope of getting on that ladder next year. Need to try and up the ante and take on more work. Is there any benifits of me making myself a limited company or is it staying as sole trader the way to go?
Maybe not the best place to ask but just something i have been looking into tonight.:eek:Living frugally at 24
