Hello All
I am so excited! I got an almost unexpected windfall of £1400 from a PPI reclaim! I only had a 2 minute conversation with Halifax on the phone ( was actually trying to reduce interest rate!!) and 5 weeks later got a letter and next day a check. so I paid it towards debt before could get too tempted to find other uses for it!! LOL
So that is £1400 for no 96 please!
Great news! I had a far smaller one at just under £300 from car gap insurance when they sent me a garbled letter, called them to see what they were wanting, they asked me 3 questions then gave me my money plus 8% interest back, result.Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -

just out of interest...are others taking into account their monthly DDs as well as any overpayments into their total? I've only been counting the extras, but I'm not sure if this is right....
Hi snailmail - this year I'm counting everything I pay towards my debts so I can see how much money I'm wasting. Last year though, I only counted how much I reduced my debts by.
People do both on here, it's whatever works best for you. There's no right or wrong wayMorning all no payment to report today BUT I finally have worked out my debt free dateok so its April 2017 but for the 1st time I actually have one lol have amended a standing order so could I change my target for the year please to £3000???? Not sure if thats allowed so just let me know please thankyou.
:T feeling very happy now:j

Hi everyone
Just popping in about the 'working out your debt free date' - its actually something i've never done:o:o
i've just looked at my debts and gone right this is what i owe this is how i'm going to raise the moneyi'm wondering if it would be good for me to look at the properly calculated way - or if it would scare me too much by saying extremely futuristic year when i'm thinking august this year
Alot of my target does rely on me earning extra in order to achieve it and as i'm no longer working p/t as well as f/t i have lost a chunk of income
