Restricting number of images and smillies in posts

MSE should be fun. If people enjoy adding smilies, I say let them. I understand it might be frustrating, skintscotsman, if you can't see the smilies ... why not post on the techie board and someone might be able to advise you how to view them. You never know, you might then enjoy them too.

There are lots of things around that I "hate" and find childish. I found that most other people do not, and they have as much right to enjoy them as I have to enjoy what I like. Soooo...... Hooray for wee funny smilies! :j

On a serious note (I can sometimes honest) if you look at the impact of a written communication, it can be misinterpreted very very easily - (and most of us have suffered that one) I think smilies can help put over the real intent behind the message be it funny :rotfl: angry :mad: :mad: sarcastic:rolleyes: :rolleyes: or shocked:eek: :eek:

Anyway you could ignore people who used smilies - in fact even better would be to ignore people with over 1000 posts who at the same time use smilies........:wave: bye then :wave:
