  • Just demolished the hooks on the downstairs shower curtain. They were stuck as though they had been glued shut and were hard, brittle plastic that shattered when I tugged at them. And the pole fell down on me. :(

Gave up. I'll mop the floor more instead, I think, rather than deal with that again.

Who's got an electric blanket? We've never had one but I fancy treating DH and myself to one for Christmas. Views welcome.

Off to bed now with a hottie.

Last curtain pole and curtain up :D too awkward to get the screws in as neatly as I'd like, but they're up, and clean, and look great. Need to find the tie-backs tomorrow...

I love my electric blanket, I got one last year and would not be without it now. I have suffered with alot of pain and it is better than a pain relief tablet any day for me. It is pure pleasure yummy!! almost as good as chocolate!! (i guess that is if you like choc!!)

    Morning All

I'm shattered but awake - may go back to bed later. Plan for today is to get some wrapping done while the kids aren't here and tidy the downstairs - we'll see what happens though.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Are your kids not at a strking school Jue? Hope you get a nap later.

I've emptied the wm and am on my second cuppa.

Need to wake up DS1 next as he has a driving lesson at 9am and then I think I'll order my meat for Christmas.

They are but originally I was working so my mum was having the kids and as she's having my 2 nephews as well she says she'll still have them so I've got a few hours to myself.
