Dusty - really hoping woody is ok. Let us know how he's doing xx

List finished. Feel i've achieved something today. It's pouring down here and DD hasn't got a coat. Why don't they wear them - silly me, it's just not cool. I'm waiting for the call to say will I pick her up and the answer is no. She has a coat and chooses not to wear it. I'm such a bad mother!:D

Going to see if I can put anything else away whilst i'm waiting for DS to get home xx
  • DW unloaded, reloaded & set off
    WM x 1
    TD x 1
Waiting for DD to get home to tell me where she's put her dance top so I can get the white load on - floordrobe doesn't even begin to describe it
Decluttered kitchen surfaces & kitchen table

Been doing a lot of thinking about job applications, whether to continue focusing on my old/current line of work where I have all my experience and qualifications (whilst I do my OU 'retraining'), or whether to focus on my 'new/future' line of work even if the link is tenuous iyswim. I'm not having much luck in my old/current line of work - I'm getting interviews but always seem to be the bridesmaid rather than the bride :o - is it because I'm over 40 / short / single / a bit ginger??!!

Anyway... it will mean a complete overhaul of my CV, job search, interview technique - and most importantly my mindset. Any pearls of wisdom gratefully accepted, I'm going round in circles and probably not seeing the wood for the trees.

Flying wise, my focus will be on de-cluttering this week I think, and the ever-expanding hot-spots which are threatening to merge evilly into one huge super-hot mega pile  I'm sure I can hear them mocking me so off I go to disperse the blighters... wish me luck.....

*trots off looking grimly determined if a little alarmed*
*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*
