    Ho ho *%^$£& HO!

I'm full of cold *sniff* and can't sleep and my mind is buzzing with stuff I have to do.

Never got back on last night (I'd done my ironing so I was entitled;) AND I'd done the washing up including pans left from Sunday *cof* *blush*) because one of my tyres looked a bit flat - went to garage to fill with air and failed so decided to change wheel - got spare out from cage (Pollyanna moment - I now have my tow hook in the boot as opposed to in the box cradled in the spare which is slung in a cage under the car) - had to find man to help though - NDN came to my rescue (note to self get decent bottle of wine for them this xmas) anyway I have a screw through my tread hence slow puncture.

On another positive note joiner with good reputation has been in touch and is going to look at the kitchen-with-the-broken-oven and quote... DD 'requires input' (having said that she helped me choose the tiles and bathroom bits and has excellent taste and is thinking along a career in those lines so worthwhile).
Got 4 watchers on my 'antique' so I'm hopeful...

Note to self - buy more swarfega sometime as the pot I have is now liquid...

and in reply to Kazw's post I have made close to £30 so far for work (school funds need a boost) and that's after FVF and paypal fees!

ETA Was it Lil_me who said that having a Tow hook available would be a good part of winter preparations (erm last year?) - I would never have though of making sure it was accessible. Mind you I never got it out last year - too much like hard work! :rotfl:

    Morning all

Still cannot sleep, well tossed and turned all night, so given up now, sounds like it is chucking it down out side, and like Valli, Ihave also 'woken' up with the sniffles.................

Cat seems to think he is about tot be fed, well he can just wait, for at least half an hour, other wise he will be wanting feeding at this time, he is also soaking wet from being outside, so he can clean himself for a bit, but not on the bed.!!

    Flylists still being made!!

Valli and kaz - I'm with you - absolutely full of cold, banging head and feeling pretty rotten - I haven't slept very well either - can we all have a pj day together?

WM is on, dishes need doing and I don't feel like doing much at all. I also need to do some ironing as none got done at the weekend so I don't think the kids have got any uniform ironed.

I cleaned the hotspot which is my bedside chest of drawers last night when I got in - it was thick with dust and had receipts on it that expired 6 months ago!

I suppose I ought to go and do something.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Would that I could - I don't feel ill enough to call in sick and financial pressures at work (anyway) would put me off doing so...plus I'm 'off' tomorrow!

Shuffled stuff and sorted stuff anyhoo...and even did a couple of relists!

have a good day all and see you later!

  • Im up and about to start gentle flying (more so that I try not to wake up DH)

Kaz, well done on the diabeties front, my mum also "beat" type 2 through diet control alone and even though she's been given the all clear by the doc she is still meticulous about her diet as she really does not want it returning.

    Hugs for the poorlies :grouphug:
