Thanks Polly, Lamewolf and Boddy for your concern about Woody, he ate his and Dusty's dinner tonight so I'm guessing he feels better! I expect he'd eaten a pigeon, that is usually the cause.

I've not done much from my list, but I have made tomato soup for tomorrow and I'm about to make cottage pie for tomorrow too, kids are all home with the strike. Planning on popping to IKEA with 2 of them.

Had a lovely relaxing afternoon watching a good old black and white film on cable. Am totally relaxed now..almost to the point I don't want to move..lol

Tried to get the dog out in the garden earlier but as it was chucking it down with rain, almost blizzard like, the stupid dog put one paw out and went rushing back to his bed.. Am now going to try getting him out in the garden shortly before he is fed..

Think I need to do a quick hotspot on the living room..

Dusty - thank goodness Woody is alright! Had us all worried there for a minute!

DS's parent's evening was a dream. So proud of how he's caught up with everything and doing so well.

Now i'm going to make a start on the bedroom whilst I still have a tiny bit of energy! xx

First of all, AJMONEY, I apologise for not seeing earlier that you passed your piano exam. Just looked back to see if you mentioned it last week and see that you did. Fantastic!!!!:T Are you going to do the next grade or just enjoy playing for a while?

I will do the next grade but I am enjoying doing different bits for now and my teacher is setting me pieces to learn quickly at the moment so I don't get too bored. Have already started the scales for the next grade though.

Thanks for the 'next steps' info - this is going to be really helpful :T

Cooked tea and put the white wash on... oooh better see if it's ready to hang up. Then I must go out into the cold, dark damp evening to feed DD's soother and lucozade addiction and make sure she has everything she needs to hand tomorrow so she can be poorly in as much comfort as possible while I go with DS to a university open day/interview event.

    Have a good evening all.

    Cleaned up from dinner.

Going to put the WM on now and move about a bit, gone stiff sitting here.

  • [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Hi

    Dusty - glad cat ok.

Got home from work and had a real CBA 2 hours, but then saw sense and got off my !!!. Would love a couple of biscuits to go with a cuppa, but tomorrow is weigh in day and I'm determined to have lost a further 2lbs to reach half a stone. I can find back into my skinny jeans :T but there is still a long way to go.
