  • Wow - bumper OPs for the change of the month. Well done blizeH, lighthousescotland, Barney1979, bownyboy, originator, catslovelycats, jaywhoppee and OM - All Updated!

Welcome frugalfrog - you have been added and are new 2012 MFW number 137

black taxi - any kind of OP in Jan is great! we have you down as having overpayed £966 for the month, so I reduced it to £255. Let me know if this is not correct.

Welcome back OM - its been a while!!!
  • Regulars in the 2010 thread may recall that I use a structured format to log my progress. No change here on the 2012 thread.

Overpayments go out on the first of the month (can't OP earlier than that) and I made an overpayment today of £1,112.59:

    #29 - Overpay by £10,400.00.

Month: Ideal Pay / Ideal Total / Ideal % / Actual Pay / Actual Total (Diff) / Actual %

    January: 866.67 / 866.67 / 8.33% / 862.59 / 862.59 (-4.08) / 8.29%
    February: 866.67 / 1,733.33 / 16.67% / 1,112.59 / 1,975.18 (+241.85) / 18.99%

    Total overpaid: £1,975.18

Meaning I'm ahead by 241.85 already. For those mildly curious as to the amount - it's £2k minus the standard mortgage payment of £887.41 - off to update google docs...

  • My regular overpayment of £550 has gone out today. Unlikely to be any more this month as I've been on a clothes buying spree for my new job. (no. 119)
  • Thanks for those updates financialblisss and starflame (and good luck with the new job). Google docs updated for you :)
