  • Just rang up Natwest and increased my monthly overpayment by £20 in preparation for January 18th when my next repayment actually is. This puts my monthly overpayment at £75. (i do this anyway but pop in £20 throughout the month by online banking, £5 here, £10 there etc).

Hi Southernman - starting as you mean to go on! :T I have entered an OP of £75 for January. If you are planning on making a number of incremental payments during a particular month, it is helpful, when giving us the update, to give us the total OP figure for that month as that is the figure that is entered into the spreadsheet. :)

Sarahevie - welcome to 2012! Your number this year is 106 and you have been entered with a target of £6000

    Please can I be added?

I have a £49500 tracker mortgage with unlimited overpayments and the first payment is due to come out in January although I am already overpaying it :D

I hope to overpay £200 per month although in the summer it will probably be a bit more. £2400 for the year. :D

OK, I'm going to take the plunge ... please can I join? I will set my target at £1200. We already overpay £75 per month but this has become normal to us now, and I won't include it in the figures, so aiming for more!
    Thanks
