  • No 41 here. I think I want to update my target for 2012 to 18,000 (from 15k). I'd normally be aiming for 22k but I'm going to be taking maternity leave from June :j and I've no idea how expensive a baby and all its paraphernalia will be. So I'm not sure if I'm being ambitious, or just plain stupid with my target, but I'm sure I'll find out....

    Good Morning All,

Sorry I was MIA yesterday, I was on the techie board seeing if I could rescue my PC. May still get a new one but with the brilliant advice I've had I should be able to give the computer to either my GD or a friend.

Brilliant news that we got to 100 and over yesterday! :j:T:j

Thanks MUN for bearing the duties alone. :o

I've just been on and added some new numbers and relevant formulae so now we need another nine to fill those spaces. ;)

Anyone who wants to give themselves a challenge to overpay (OP) in 2012 is welcome. And it doesn't matter the size of your target - every pound OPd reduces the interest you will pay the bank in the long run.

BTW, evi3000 I've corrected the typo so now shows £470.

    See you all later,
    Spigs
    Mortgage Free October 2013 :T
  • I'd like to join the challenge this year please. I've been overpaying since July and would like to continue to do so. I've been gradually upping the OPs so we're now OPing by £223 a month. This means that my target for the year is going to be £3000 which means I'll have to squeeze a smidge more out of our already tight budget.

I'll try to update monthly as this is when I make the OP and I can check balances etc online at any time.

    Current balance is £116246.
  • twistedhazel, you're in at number 102 - with a target of £3,000.
