Morning!!! Number 40 checking in with my June OP of £290

I am close to my (very low) target, but as we are thinking of getting the bathroom done, I won't make my target bigger, but will just pay off what I can each month.

Well done to everyone OPing - we owe the banks a lot less money now!!!

    Well hello all!

I hope you won't mind but I won't list all the OPs individually but all from posts and the googledoc have now been updated.

This month has not been kind to me, one of my beautiful cats went to sleep a few weeks ago and that was heartbreaking. She was mature at 10 but as my last cat lived to 18 I suppose I was spoilt and she just seemed too young to have gone yet.

Unfortunately all that happened after I'd bought myself a laptop out of my PPI reclaim (only a refurb so about £300) and so I've been manipulating funds around the place to cover the £400 vets bills.

So my July is unlikely to get to the heights of the last couple of months though I should make the normal £698 next week.

Then to cap it all this week I took my old desktop cpu in to be backed up and then upgraded to Windows 7. Unfortunately nobody asked me about password protected user accounts and so they backed it up, reformatted the hard drive and upgraded it. When I got home all my documents, photos, music, etc were not in the back up. My user account was passworded. So no desktop at the mo as its back in having umpteen software runs to try and recover the data from the hard disk.

Ho hum, life is sent to try us I feel sometimes.

Anyway, well done everyone on your fantastic OPs for June. There will be some more over the weekend I'm sure and then we're onto month 7. We're almost at half a million pounds paid this year so I really look forward to that total clocking up. Little things ......

    All the best,
    Spigs

    Thanks greent,

I still have her brother and so must console myself with that. But he doesn't like cuddles or being on laps and she has spent ten years on my shoulder/chest like my baby. Also she mewed and he is totally silent so the house seems so quiet. Thank you for your kind words, I relly appreciate them.

    Take care,
