    Good morning all,

A big welcome to our newest challenger (and MSE newbie) muddywhitechicken! You are No.156 on the spreadsheet and I've spread your OPs already made across the months. Good luck with your challenge!

All updated for you pavlovs_dog. I'm not accustomed to singing hymns to myself but everytime I see your sig it sets it off in my head!

I may have patchy connectivity tonight so please don't worry if I don't update. Hopefully tomorrow normal service will be resumed.

    Take care,
    Spigs

    Hi everyone.

No 38 wth my June update :)

Overpaid by £224.61 this month per my statement. Nowhere near my target so I'm falling behind quite a bit but ... this month I've paid for 2 weekends away, 1 of which I've also been on so there was a bit of excessive spending. Also paid for a very expensive plumber and a hen party so actually pretty happy with being able to overpay at all!

Also, next month will include my annual bonus so hoping I can get back on track.

    Form and siggie already updated.

No 28 reporting in with June's OP figure of £1000 exactly :D

(£750 standard OP and £250 from selling stuff and a tiny bit of cashback)

We will repay our mtge sub account 02 in August :j - I'm tempted to clear it a few days early when OH gets paid, just because we'll be able to do so and it'll actually be in July;). That then just leaves us the biggie of sub account 01.... Still, that's £5k lower than if we hadn't be OPing (and sub acct 02 is £20k lower :D) Once acct 02 is repaid I shall calculate how much interest we've saved on it compared to the original term (original end date Jan 2023)

    Repaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NIL
    Net sales 2024: £20

No. 119. Overpayment of £950 made today. (I love payday)

I believe my mortgage is now £2,790 although not 100% sure until my basic mortgage payment of £74 goes in tomorrow. It may be a few pounds more or less.
Lovely OH has just paid for my summer holiday so no need to stop overpaying for that. I do intend to pay him back once the mortgage is gone though - there'll be no excuse then!
